Yea - pretty shocking trade to me as well for the compensation. .... so, the PHI backfield is a complete guess along with SF, TB, WAS, MIA - the water is muddied now in CHI, HOU and to a lesser extent CLE and BAL. Pretty soon the fantasy community will have to adopt the 'team RB' approach or start 4. .... the days of a 'stud' RB look to be more and more numbered.

Some evidence: none needed, please some of you try to refute this for laughs.

Some evidence: LT, C, RT are among the best in the league. This isn't a very strong claim, the Eagles Oline being among the best is widely known.

The strongest claim, but name one better? Pederson has done it on the biggest stages, with multiple QBs, on 4th downs, 3rd downs and beaten all the other young offensive coaches head to head.


No one said he's a top 5 fantasy back, but he's certainly sitting pretty going into the season in Philly.

A) No Eagle RB has averaged as much as 12 carries a game since 2016

B) Peterson likes a RBBC. That's not changing.

C) Last 53 games a RB has had 20 carries for the Eagles only 4 times.

I did mispeak in #2. Rushes, not touches. He was 5th and 6th in rushing attempts previously. He can handle a 200+ rush workload.

Part of what makes Pederson a great play caller is his RBBC approach. RB always has fresh legs and he utilizes different skill sets very well.

It's just not the same when you keep 1 back out there for majority of snaps.

Howard will get between 33-40% of their carries if he's the lead back for PHI, that's about a 120 carries (based on 350 for their backfield next yr)
