You mean the brillliant fast talking attorney with little common sense?
you are the guy that thinks is better in the NBA to have a collection of mediocre talents than to have star power.

AS i told you a long time ago- the Heat were good because they had a star- D.Wade.....and then they were really good when they had multiple stars (LeBron, Wade, Bosh).

now they suck becuase they have no stars.

Its a star driven league.

Your- its better to have a bunch of decent players than a star was so fucking dumb its unbelievable.

your comments after the heat finished .500:

Fuck you and your "star".
Fuck you and what the Heat can or can't do.
Wasn't Whiteside supposed to get lazy and have a meltdown?( You guaranteed 1000x).
You've proven time and time again that you are just a blabbering idiot.

One overpaid max player isn't winning anyone, anything.
Give me a full roster of talent, who plays hard and together.
We saw last year it can and will work. (after they finished .500 and 8th in the EAST!), lol.

you are going to have to realize slugger, that star power wins in the NBA- and this strategy of overpaying a bunch of mid-level schmucks like Waiters and Olnyk and Johnson and Johnson etc....its just about as stupid as can be.

yet another year the Heat dont bottom out, but have no real chance of winning anything-- and will get yet another mediocre mid-draft talent like Bam.

upside

in this context- nothing but another word for "hasnt done dick yet" and has pretty much underwhelmed

Are you fucking kidding me?

Hasn't done dick (you're obsessed with hunting the d):

TT in his 2nd season: 11.7ppg, 9.4rpg, 1.3apg, 1bpg, and 0.5pg while making 49% and 61% in more playing time, 31mpg.

Bam: 8.5ppg, 7rpg, 2apg, 0.8spg, and 0.8 bpg while making 58% and 74% in just 22mpg

You're welcome.

Just stop.

You called Bam a "poor man's TT".

It is a terrible comp. Their skill sets are totally different.

If I made a comparison like that you would be talking about it for at least 3 years.

WTF?

they are both 4/5's that are athletic enough to guard the perimeter and have no business having a play called for them. Though maybe Nance is a slightly better comp for Bam. Bam is not nearly as good a rebounder or versatile defender as TT.

but when you are getting blocked by kelly olnyk and james johnson- i mean- who wouldnt be? lol......i cant really say hes blocked by whiteside since whiteside was sent to the bench too. lol

He knows he's wrong.
TT's second year in the league he was 13th in the NBA in rebounding and scored over 11 pts a game

Bam in his second year has come off the bench while Kelly Olnyk and James Johnson have each started more games.

enough said.

8.5 points 6.8 rebounds a game? cmon now.

Thats more Larry NAnce territory than Tristan Thompson territory.

They are similar defensively. TT is a better rebounder for sure. Bam is a better rim protector for sure. They both guard well in space.

Bam is more skilled with the ball. And yes, the Heat actually do throw it to him from time to time because he can do some things with it.

Nobody is saying Bam is going to be a star, but he is nothing like TT offensively. I heard that comparison 2 years ago on draft night, but Bam has progressed more than anybody expected.

Like I said, overpaid max players get you to where?
K Love status/results?

There are some true, elite worth their weight in gold superstars who do end up usually on championship teams or championship contending teams but they just dont fall from the sky.

We’ve had the debate before.
You’re a bandwaggoner.
Things are looking good. You’ll watch.

As a STH, screw sucking every night.
Ive been through it.

although some of this blame has to go on Riley for having no clue how to build a roster.

You have Olnyk, James Johnson and Whiteside---- and then you draft another big man.

You are paying Whiteside 25M a year to play 25 minutes a night. lol.

You are paying James Jonhson 15M a year to play 20 minutes a night.

The Heat have Richardson, Winslow, Dragic, and had Tyler Johnson, Wayne Ellington, McGruder and Waiters for their guard perimeter players. I mean, the roster just does not make any sense. Why pay so many guys contracts that are expensive---- the NBA middle class type contract is dying- and the heat double downed on it.

You cant play Richardson, Winslow, Dragic, Tyler Johnson, Wayne Ellington, Waiters, McGruder real rotation minutes. What was the plan?

I mean normal NBA teams try and get a star or two and then fill in some role guys....instead the Heat just paid huge money to have a ton of guys that no one could ever find enough playing time for. It just made no sense.

I said it at the time....a few years ago i said- the Heat are going to be somewhere between a kinda-bad and a mediocre team- and its exactly what has happened

6th seed first round knockout

lotto team missed the playoffs

and now probly 8th seed?

the Heat have one guy that averages 30 minutes or more a game. That is some weird shit. Riley built a fucked up roster that just made no sense.

the only thingi can think of is that he thought when he signed guys that he would have no problem moving some of them-- and that of course turned out to be not-true.

Lets not consider Heat have Whiteside.
Bam took advantage of his opportunity when Whiteside was injured.

Cavs had no C, and Tristan wasnt even starting.
