I don't think it makes him a coward.

Would you rather play in a Sean Payton offense or the Miami Dolphins offense?

The answer is simple.

His only gamble is assuming Drew is done in the next 2 years.
I'd go to the end of the earth to have a shot at being a starting QB. Sorry but life doesn't always put things on a platter for you. Take your opportunities when they arise couldn't stress it anymore...

Apparently Bridgewater disagrees. Saints have elite weapons with Kamara and Thomas, Dolphins don’t. Saints have a good OL not sure if the Dolphins do. Saints have a good defense, the Dolphins.........
this. He think that lowly of the phins.

Plus chatter about them saying to him about being the brees succesor

Also what kinda deal were the Fins offering? Long term?

Have to think they plan on drafting a QB this year or next.

He’s going to try to be the Saints future QB. Gutsy.
Passing up a starting job is plain stupid... they don't grow on trees. When I see a hundy rolling on the street I grab it I don't wait for it to come to me. You guys can learn the lesson the hard way I disagree...

NO was one year they could easily find someone else moving forward and Bridgewater will be left with nothing except a clipboard and another year older. May never get another opportunity. I'd take my chances with any team who offered...

No he’s waiting on a starting job rather then accept a bad situation out of desperation. You just refuse to accept that starting for the Dolphin at this time sucks.

Some say suck I'd say opportunity. Showed your talent or hide behind brees. Losers hide sorry..

Well my understanding is the Dolphins has a plan in place for 2020 QB. Dont know what that is but that is what TV was saying. So that would put him as a lame duck starter for one year. Not the future.

While Brees redid his contract to fit Bridgewater in the cap for next year. The Saints actually want Bridgewater on the team. While it is only for a year so either can go in another direction next year.

If a real starting job comes up next year. He could go & take it. Playing as the Saints back up obviously hasnt hurt his stock. learning behind Brees for another year also wont hurt. Meanwhile going to start for the Dolphins for one year absolutely could hurt his career. they arent committed to him. I dont blame him for not wanting to uproot for a dead end job. Wait for a real one or continue to wait for Brees demise. If the Dolphins wanted to make him their future would be one thing. A stop gap. Stick to what is working for you.

Losers accept first thing that come their way. Winners have the confidence to wait for the good opportunity and not sell themselves short.

So if he plays lights out that would hurt his stock? Sitting on the bench proves nothing... meanwhile he could earn his future opportunities. I'll take my chances by betting on myself unless of course he's a loser. If that's the case I don't want you.

Rodgers sat for 4 years behind Favre in Green Bay.

He didn't have a decision in that. You don't think he would have jumped at any opportunity if he was able? Come on... in a NY minute but Bridgewater hides.

you cant play lights out in a horrible situation.
Ask Archie Manning. (Aints)
Ask Steve Young (Buccaneers)

Better off staying put than go play for a team that is only wanting to use him, until they get their shiny new toy.
