A sound business decision on his part. Sorry if it upsets you.:rolleyes2:
Doesn't upset me but how is it a sound business decision when he has an opportunity now and by next year he may have none. There's no guarantees in sports...take them when you can! He's an idiot in my mind...

You're only 26 once and for all we know he may never get this so called starting job in NO. Lots can happen in a year. Meanwhile he's passing up a pretty solid opportunity. I'd say this to anyone take your shot when it arises...

Or if he stays in NO, he could be Brees' successor.....

Big if. I wouldn't tempt my career with fate. When I see an opportunity to prove myself I do and its given me a lot of success in life. Let's wait for a hall of famer to retire and maybe I'll get my chance....no thanks earn it now create your own path. Losers let others decide I'm glad he didn't take on the challenge...

Gotta agree with Flyerfin. Get the starting job wherever you can. Being in the shadow of a hall of fame player is not the ideal, imo.

Apparently Bridgewater disagrees. Saints have elite weapons with Kamara and Thomas, Dolphins don’t. Saints have a good OL not sure if the Dolphins do. Saints have a good defense, the Dolphins.........

Doesn't do squat if you are hiding behind brees on the bench. Meanwhile starting QB you can prove to the world that you belong. Like I said losers prefer to be bench warmers I'd go for the opportunity and force them into paying you similar to Foles you don't see him hiding and he had to bide his time to earn it. Yet this fool walks away without a fight...

Would agree if Brees was 35 and not 40.

Also I have to think coaching matters. Payton is one of the top offensive minds in football.

I think Teddy thinks Brees is very close to retiring and the job will be handed to him. No other reason to stay if you think Drew going to be there for another 3 seasons

Is he hiding or just waiting for a glorious opportunity? Foles went to a good team.....

That's the sound of Bridgewater blowing an opportunity to be an NFL starting QB. I'd shoot myself for doing that!

But you never know look at Brady.... You be waiting a long time. Today's NFL protects these QB's...

If it makes you feel better, I don’t think Bridgewater is good enough to carry a bad team. He’s not the answer for the Dolphins. You need a QB much better then him.

You ever here you snooze you loose.... Who's to say that the Saints don't find a better young QB meanwhile Bridgewater is left at the alter with 0 evidence if he's capable. Most gms probably look at him as a coward for now seizing the moment...

Not saying he would succeed but at least try! You never know it could turn into something better than a backup...

Same. I don't think he's that good at all since coming back from his injury. He looked bad in that week 17 start.

I didn't care a bit when the rumors with him & Miami started yesterday

You seem to think the players are trying to prove their manhood with their business decisions. Don’t think it works that way.

That's why the man should seize his opportunity. Instead he's a coward...

He looks like a coward to me. Sorry my opinion when someone hides behind another when he has a great opportunity to prove himself. Losers hide...

I don't think it makes him a coward.

Would you rather play in a Sean Payton offense or the Miami Dolphins offense?

The answer is simple.

His only gamble is assuming Drew is done in the next 2 years.
