Gotta wonder what kinda kickbacks BQ and MP are getting from their buddies for signing them.

We had many ways to waste the money gained by cutting Lawson. They some how did even less with it than I assumed they would

I am OK with it as a depth signing as long as it is small money and 1 year. DA's best days are behind him but he is still decent. Even if he helps Jones and Powell become better it would be worth it. I dont want to spend money (or an early draft pick) on slot as I dont see Bevell utilizing it much.

Its an okay signing, not gonna jump for joy or complain. Its a one year deal. Hopefully he brings his gal along to some games. I'd rather stare at her for 4 hours every Sunday.

Landon Collins gets 6 year 84M with 45M in guarantees. 14M per year avg.
Do you still wish the Lions had signed Collins and for what he's getting from the redskins ?

Ridiculous amount of money for any Safety.

I had to take a double look. Good grief.

I actually like the Lions adding to the defense, but that is a crazy amount for Coleman.

It is nice to see Detroit bring in some old Patriots — we need to start drafting like the Patriots though. They had Coleman for 2 (traded him for a 7 round pick) and Flowers for 4 — they paid them a combined 5.1 million for those 6 years. Detroit will pay them 104 million for 8 years.

The Coleman move was the only move I scratched my head at. Overpaying for a nickel guy. Amendola is just a stop gap guy and they still may pickup someone else. Flowers is a great move, James is a solid move. He is 6'7 and is still pretty young.

Flowers got what they thought he would. He basically replaces Ansah.
James is a huge need for us and he is young. Don’t know what they paid him? I like those two moves.

Amendola at 34 for 4.5 million is way too much money.
And 9 million for a NCB is crazy. We have too many holes to fill to have the highest paid NCB in the NFL.

This kid, who has only played in 31 games of a possible 48 and was a 2016 4th round draft pick, received a 3 year 25.8M extension. That's 8.6M per year on avg. Coleman's annual average pay is pretty much in line. Wait until Bryce Callahan signs with another team.

Pretty good signing for them.

It is decent but I thought he was more in line at 2M per year than 3M.

I guess that SpoTrac market value for ZZ for 2.7M may not be far off if Davis gets 3M per year.

I've been looking for Jesse James contract numbers haven't found anything yet.

I've looked everywhere and can't find one damn article on how much.

I'm going to guess, at least in this market, 5.5M - 7M per year for 4 years but less than 50% is guaranteed.

Need more players that don't go out and tweet or call Ian Rappaport as soon as they sign a new contract
