Tyrod played and protected the ball well when given the chance he just did't fit what the Bills leadership was looking for in a QB(Tall and white)

I am sure skin color was the primary deciding factor, not that they wanted to try something other than a game manager. Tyrod Taylor is good, but Bills ground game was fading, they had to try something new.

Why not trade MJ and draft picks for Antonio Brown? Neither guy is happy where they are. Staff loves to focus on 1 WR on plays. It might work.

I watched a few of the Browns games last year before he got benched(don't ask me why). He looked terrible.

Hell no. I don't want any prima donna, satan worshipper on the Lions. No way in hell I would root for that guy.

Might give them the benefit of the doubt if he didn't get benched for Peterman while they were still in the playoff hunt. Years earlier Flutie got the same treatment from the organization(Actually got them to the playoffs just to get benched).

It seems to me if they did the same thing years earlier to a white guy that it is not racially motivated, just dumb moves by a bad franchise.

Not saying it was racially motivated just think the ownership wants a certain look for their QB and those guys didn't fit it.

In the age old tradition of these boards I would like to point out that there is a new player available, and the Lions should sign him.

Sign Johnathan Cyprien!!!!!!!

NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala reports RG Kevin Zeitler's "name has been thrown around some" as someone the Browns may try to trade.

At $12 million per year, Zeitler is the league's third-highest paid guard behind Zack Martin and Andrew Norwell. The old regime in Cleveland handed Zeitler that contract, and Kinkhabwala adds current GM John Dorsey drafted Austin Corbett to be an interior lineman for this team. Cutting Zeitler would clear just $1.7 million in cap space and leave behind $10.7 million in dead money, but the Browns would save $6.5 million in real cash. The Browns are already flush with cap space. They'd likely only consider moving him if a team wants to trade them a pick. Zeitler turns 29 in three days and was Pro Football Focus' top pass-blocking guard last season.

What do you guys think of throwing a 5th rounder or something for one of the best guards in the NFL? We have cap room. I have no problem spending money or elite players such as Zeitler.

I'd rather stay away from signing OL in FA and just draft a younger, cheaper OG/C or OT/OG combo in the draft.

Neither signing of Wagner or Lang has panned out to date. jmo.

Giants already traded for Zeitler so no worries.

We need 1 of those Top 3 LBs in FA. That is a big hole for us. I dont think we want to see Christian Jones out there any more. Barr makes a lot of sense. I would have preferred Mosely and then draft White but Barr gives us more draft options. We would not need to use #8 on LB anymore.

Most importantly he mangled Aaron Rodgers and broke his collarbone.
