I think were gonna see in the coming weeks here some vet LB'ers with bigger contracts get cut. By no means are they the solution, but like we tried to do with Bostic, we may be able to find a plug. Im suggesting a cheap signing. Im already reading about:

nick perry
possibly jamie collins
conner barwin

just a few none im suggesting we sign, but there may be some to take a peek at, while drafting a guy high.

On a more serious note... In regards to the Mack LB, they all look like a stop-gaps IMO... Better players than what we currently have, but not the solution they need. They need to draft that type of player.

Everyone seems to be really high on Devine White as the guy that's NFL ready. Mack Wilson is not getting as m uch love as a 1st round pick so maybe I'm wrong about him. The kid from MICH, Bush has the skill set, but not the size you like in a LB at this level.

I don't think it's White or bust from the draft. Better than Bostic who imo did a good job for what his skill set is, but I'm not as enthused about them getting a 3 down LB in FA.

I know that Colbert is probably going to take whatever pick they get for Brown and use it on a drafted player...If White slips past DET I think I would be on the phone with BUF and DEN to see if I can use #20+ the pick for AB and move up...I don't want CIN ending up with him.

This Hanks kid from New Mx St is gaining a lot of steam...reportedly has the speed to cover and has NFL starter athleticism. If PIT misses out (probable) on Devin White...this might be a name we hear called for PIT.

Oh, that Brown...lol...yes...good chance he's moved within the next 2 weeks actually.

I just don't think they need to run out and spend heavy on a WR FA.
