That is why they will always be the Cardinals. Drafting a 5'9" QB no. 1 is a typical Cards move. Murray will end up at best a Doug Flutie.

A Doug Flutie would be a great ceiling. I'm thinking he will be a Dalton type. Shows some flashes, but overall is very mediocre.

Arizona would be crazy to draft a QB in the first round in back to back years. That would be giving up on Rosen. If anything, it would be egg on their face by admitting that they didn't scout Rosen well before taking him 10th overall.

He was a great CFL QB. In the NFL he was adequate. Is that what you would want from the No. 1 Overall pick?

I wouldn't believe any reports we hear, but that I agree with. I don't care what happened in the past, if there's a QB I like better than the one I have I'm taking him.

I agree, if they can get value back in a trade of Rosen. The investment in the 10th overall pick on Rosen has to be a factor. Before the draft last year, he was considered by some to be the best QB in the draft. From Walterfootball:

Of the top quarterback prospects for the 2018 NFL Draft, Rosen has the best mechanics and is the most natural pocket passer. He throws a tremendous ball and can really spin it. Rosen's tight spiral helps him to get his passes through small windows and beat good coverage. He has serious arm talent along with field vision and pocket presence. Rosen also worked under center, which has been rare to see with college quarterbacks in recent years.

Since they thought so little of HC Wilks that they fired him, maybe Rosen isn't the one who is at fault.
