If any team offers Green to bring him in as the #1 or #2 option.....they'll be sorely disappointed and probably cost somebody in the FO their job.

He isn't a 1 or 2 option. That isn't how he plays.

That also doesn't mean he couldn't be the best or second best player on a team. Ben Wallace, for example, was probably the second best player on the Pistons, but he was their 5th option.

But yeah. If a team brings in Draymond and expects him to score 20 a game, then theyare just stupid. THat isn't his game.

i will say-

Oubre is 23 and looks like he might be a nice wing player to give a few bucks to.

I mean i guess the Wiz traded him because they had no intention of resigning him, but you would think a talented 23 year old that they traded for on draft day, and developed and is finally starting to figure it out- is precisely the type of player that they should invest in.

its not like Oubre is going to break the bank and get a crazy deal.

I dunno. He seems kinda similar talent wise to Cedi if you ask me- good enough to probably be a solid NBA starter- but def. not one of your 3, or even 4 best players---- but a guy that can win you a few games on his own during the year and contribute pretty well in the rest of them.

I hope he stays with the Suns and they give him a nice little deal....i wonder what kind of deal--- id guess some where between 3 years 30 million and 3 years 42 million. (10-14 a year).

Yes and no.

I think Oubre is a really talented role player. I hope he winds up in a good spot.

I just don't see the point in the Wizards singing guys like him next year. They have no chance to be competitive and they should be looking further out with their window.

If the fans threaten to boycott games, would the organization be justified in shutting him down claiming a 'toxic' situation???

Wow

NBA told NOLA they will fine them 100k per game if they sit Davis.

That definitely seems appropriate. They didn't want to deal him so they should play him

No, he isn't though.

Statistically, sure. But TT is a really good perimeter defender. McGee is not.

Yeah, defensively TT gets a slight edge. McGee is a better rim protector. But the way the game is played today, there's more of a premium on perimeter defense than on rim protection.

Zubac is BACKSIDE.

Dude is Asssssss

Gotta disagree with you a bit on this one.

Zubac is a bit of a "throwback". But he has worked on his athleticism and Chandler and McGee took him under their wing and really worked with him. He has actually been playing very well.

10 years ago, he'd be a solid starting center. In today's game, he has a lot of value as a backup/spot starter. He can provide scoring in the post and is a decent rim protector. He is average defending the pick and roll, but isn't going to be much help defending the perimeter.

He's young, still learning and is very coachable. If he can develop a halfway decent perimeter shot, he could be a poor man's Vucevic. It might be close to skid row poor, but there are worse players collecting paychecks. lol

Fans were chanting his name wanting Gentry to put him back in the game in the 4th

Then you should have kept him.

This guy has no future with the Clippers.

None.

We don't need him for the same reasons you don't.

1. He's a project at best.

2. There is no way we are keeping him because we want capspace to attract a star.

3. He's a less talented, redundant piece.

I agree.

This is not a Kanter, Jabari Parker situation.

This is benching without merit.

But, I understand WHY Nola would do it.

They are FUCKED if they lose him for pennies on the dollar.

They are FUCKED WITH A SICK DICK if he gets injured and they lose him for Pesos on the dollar.

Nice Sixers win.

Hideous turnovers, but maybe that’s expected with new players.

Redick probably didn’t like the Big 4 moniker and put his stamp on the game.

Simmons and Boban both attempted threes.... nirvana!

Sixers had a +35 rating with their starting lineup on the court last night. With Embiid shooting 4-17 and Simmons coughing up the ball 9 times.

Especially when they had Porter at the Max on the roster.

Teams weren't exactly lining up to take that deal.

I'm starting to think that the Sixers are the Warriors East. Big 4, plus a talented 5th, weak bench just like the Ws. Shouldn't they be slight favorites to come out of the East?

Embiid was sick.

Simmons was just doing to much trying to feed everyone.

But, I really like what I see so far.

Tobias is going to make things easier for JJ.

It's good to have another long ball threat.

I like the Bucks and I'm very curious to see Gasol up North.

I'm kinda concerned about who goes to the bench for the Raptors?

Siakam or Ibaka?

I honestly would start Pascal.

But, I'm leaning Sixers.

Partly because I love Tobias and Boban.

But, mostly because they have the 2nd best starting 5 in the NBA.

Sixers, Raptors, Bucks, Celtics in that order.

It really is a tough choice, you can make a decent case for all four although Boston might be slightly below

Oh, I agree. He's nothing special. While I do like him, the Lakers got better and filled much more pressing needs by trading him.

For your Clips, he's basically a placeholder who certainly isn't going to help you win enough games to hurt your lottery position.

Also, he makes about $3 million per year less than Muscala did and is an RFA. So, if the Clips feel like keeping him around as a project, they can likely do that without really effecting their cap space. If a team offers more than they want to pay, they can just let him walk.

I just think he's better than you are giving him credit for and there are worse players collecting NBA paychecks.
