i just dont know how you could possibly say that OKC is NBA purgatory

It's playoff purgatory. They are plateaued below the Warriors without the ability to rise further. They would need the Warriors to come back to the pack.

"everyone leaves"? And you think someone else is simple?

You think most players are drafted and spend their careers with one team? And, yes, you implied no one wants to go there....but I appreciate the backpedaling.

Without Lebron, Cleveland will have a very tough time luring free agents and you know this. Paying more will help, but they badly need to find another superstar in the draft. You can try to play dumb (you are playing?) and pick semantic arguments, but nobody goes to a losing team in an undesirable city with a hated owner unless they are hunting for PT and/or $$$, regardless of W/L. Unfortunately, those are the kind of players that keep such a team down.

Eh....I guess I see that as a bit different than being a fringe playoff team that screws themselves with big contracts chasing more wins.

Clearly he didn't look at the calendar otherwise he would have known that "making pointless semantic argument" day was Tuesday.

Sounds like Rondo bailed Lebron out and might have helped saved the Lakers season and I’m
Not talking about hitting that shot. If Lebron didn’t have Rondo to clean up his mess that thing spirals out of control.

Yep, sounds like Rondo gathered together much of the roster for an unofficial, unscheduled practice that helped boost morale after that Pacers game and got everyone back on the same page.

It is, and it probably needs a different term. Too lazy to figure that out now, lol.

He bailed out Ingram who would have gotten KILLED for playing hero ball.

But, For all Rondo's faults, he's rumored to be fabulous with young players

Coaches?

Not so much.

Youngsters?

Absolutely.

So, you could be correct.

Yeah let's just ignore the fact Lebron moved from a pathetically weak Eastern conference to the West

Lets ignore the fact that for the first time since 2010 Lebron is playing not without one but TWO other all-stars on the team.

Lets ignore the fact he's just turned 34 years old and came back from the worst injury of his career.

But yeah have a good laugh they're a WHOPPING 1.5 games out of a playoff spot. Which btw with the record they have would be #7 in the East.

Funny enough, the Lakers won more games WITHOUT lebron in the lineup in 18 games than the cavs did without him in four years. Let's laugh at that too.

I look forward to your lawyer-esque comeback but I know just like the fact you keep ignoring your claim a few months ago cost you a testicle, you'll crawl in a deep hole.

Hey one-nut @WiggyRuss I'm still waiting on your response to this.

In all fairness he had a pretty good drive to the lane. He (along with most of the other young guys) just need to learn how to finish better at the rim.

They are missing one of their best defenders for the entire Season, Roberson.

They have young guys who can, and are , still improving.

Adams, Ferguson, Grant and Diallo.

They have instant offense off the bench, Shroeder.

Every other team in the NBA is plateaued below the Warriors.

So, I'm not sure how they are in purgatory.

Do you believe they can beat the Warriors as currently constituted?

He got his shot blocked.

It was way to much time remaining on the clock for LeBron to not even touch the ball.

You want your guys to be aggressive.

But, Horford was in his jersey and he forced it up anyway.

The Thunder's cap number for next season is $147M. They aren't going to continue to spend to keep those improving players or add more, other than draft picks. Thus, they have plateaued.

Gotta love smart defenders that challenge shots with either hand.

I don't believe any team in the NBA can beat the Warriors as currently constructed.

So, that means Philly, Denver, Toronto, Bucks and Boston are in purgatory too?

They all have big money tied up in a few guys.
