Klay Thompson going bananas for his dad and his hometown crowd. Sorry Lakers fans, he's taken.
35 points....on 16 shots. 7-7 on 3s. Efficient much?
Yeah, assuming he actually at least listens to other offers, I'm sure the Lakers will be looking to get him.
If he is inclined to leave, the Lakers will be able to make a strong case and the fact that he would get to play in front of his Dad, might be a selling point as well. Maybe his Dad will ground him if he doesn't come to the Lakers? lol
Plus, he doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves for what the Warriors have accomplished.
Having said that, he seems like the one guy (besides Steph) who is truly happy right where he is and doesn't seem like he really cares about credit.
So, I'll be mildly surprised if he even listens to other offers. And very surprised if he actually signs somewhere else.
I'm not so sure he cares about playing in front of his dad as much as he likes having more rings than him. lolYeah, assuming he actually at least listens to other offers, I'm sure the Lakers will be looking to get him.

Why won't he just see this as a sign to retire. So, he's been traded 3 times in one year.
He's been on the roster of 5 different teams during that time period and 3 of them have paid him to stay away.
That's some cold Shit.
There's actually a few concern trolls here in SF on sports radio saying they "heard" he will take a max deal with the Lakers. Some 49er tweeted "#futureLaker" under his pic.
is draymond green losing his athleticism at age 28?
Why because the floor cleaners fucked up and almost got him injured again? I was pissed.Any doubt this will be shaqtin of the year?
I get that, but when you can no longer do what it takes to maintain that level of play then he should seriously reconsider retiring. it happens to regular people too...we get old and the next step is retirement.Well,
If I had a job that paid me millions of dollars to do something I enjoyed, they would have to peel that jersey off me.

Might be just heresay, but I think I recall somewhere reading that he'd actually might be less inclined to sign with the Lakers, citing his dad as a factor. Not that they have a bad relationship or anything, but I think on some level they clash with respects to basketball. Like it would be tougher for him to play in front of his dad on a nightly basis. Probably because his dad's critiques could be much more frequent and probably more distracting.
But Lakers are a hot destination if Klay was going to leave. I just don't think his dad being there has anything to do with it. Klay's bout that LA nightlife.
I'm not so sure he cares about playing in front of his dad as much as he likes having more rings than him. lol
Also, you joke about his dad grounding him, but I seriously think his dad being in LA is the reason (besides not wanting to play with LBJ) that he wouldn't want to be in LA.
So, I agree and I too would be surprised if he left GS.
I was holding my breath that he wasn't hurt.Any doubt this will be shaqtin of the year?

That's what happens when you let your job define you.
With that being said, Melo isn't completely washed.
His problem is, he still thinks he's a #1 or #2.
If he went into the Season trying to fit into a Vince Carter or even Tony Parker kinda support role, he'd have suitors.
But, this Dude still thinks he's a fucking starter.
