Nearly 2 years into their careers, I'm ready to say that Bam is pretty much about a top 10 player from the 2017 draft currently.

My list would look like this

  1. Donovan Mitchell
  2. Tatum
  3. Kuzma
  4. Fox
  5. Markkanen
  6. John Collins
  7. Ball
  8. Dennis Smith
  9. Jarrett Allen
  10. Bam/Josh Hart

I mean- my list differs on the- who would i rather have to win a game tonight, or who would i rather have on my team going forward.

My list will be- who would i like to have on my team going forward- and not necessarily- i have a game tonight- who do i want?

1. Mitchell
2. Tatum
3. Fox
4. Markkanen
5. Collins
6. Kuzma
7. Isaac
8. Allen
9. DSJ
10. Giles
11. OG
12. Bam
13. Hart
14. Monk
15. Ball

LA just went berserk. I mean if put his head down and stay aggressive he is one of the most talented big men we have ever seen, he has a sweet jumper and turnaround, he is capable of putting up big numbers.
I mean he has been a consistent 20 and 8 guy for 12 straight years, pretty crazy.

And a dinosaur according to Wiggy because he only makes 28% of his 3's....so not good in todays NBA.

There's a lot of things you can see from the voting that make you question what the fans are basing the votes on. Yes it's "for the fans" and they want to see their favorites but it's more popularity contest over quality of play. I voted for some Kings players, mainly Fox and Buddy, because I'm a fan of them and think those two are at least fringe all stars this year. But my votes mean nothing because Kings players won't get voted in by fans.

The bold is always going to be an issue as long as there is fan voting. Fans aren't necessarily logical about voting because they want to see "their guys".

Imo, if it's going to be promoted as a "fans game", then leave the voting to the fans knowing that it won't always be "logical" and live with the results.

Otherwise, go to some other voting format that either eliminates or limits the fan vote and quit promoting it as a game "for the fans".

How many players in NBA history (in the 3-point arc era, obviously) have scored 50+ points without even ATTEMPTING a 3-pointer like Aldridge did tonight? I've looked on Google and came up with nothing. Saw someone say Jermaine O'Neal did it in 2005.

I'm going to guess Shaq and Wilt to start (3 pt arc era wouldn't matter for Wilt).

This article is 3 years old, but at that time there had been 71 (of 214) 50 pt games without a made 3 pointer.

The 50-Point Game Without A Three-Pointer: Will It Ever Happen Again?

Got to say I shit on Westbrook a lot (and justifiably so), but last night he was incredible. That was the best version of him I think I've seen in terms of reading the game, making the right plays and maximizing his efficiency. THAT is the Westbrook I've always wanted to see.

If that Westbrook comes out to play in the playoffs, every team in the NBA should be really worried.
