You kind of need an arm to play in the Air Raid. If he did transfer he’d throw more passes in one season than he has from his junior year of HS until present day.

He has a very good arm. His accuracy is decent.

His decision making and such is where he was lacking, but that was improved this season. Before he lost the starting job, he would often bail on the pocket instead of stepping up in it, and many plays often ended in him running to the right before he either ran out of bounds, or later he improved to throwing them out of bounds at the last second. This season he was much better at that however.

He doesn't throw guys open etc, but would probably do pretty well in a quick throwing offense that doesn't give him time to bail.

Jalen at Oklahoma would be dangerous. We need to stop labeling him as the passer (or lack thereof) leading up to halftime of the 2018 title game. He looked like a much, much better passer in limited action this season. No doubt that working with Enos has paid some dividends.

It may be a long-shot but Lane Kiffin recruited Jalen to Bama and was the reason he saw the field in his first game vs. USC, and then stayed on the field after losing a fumble on his first touch. Would also guess Kansas, Texas Tech, and maybe even Pitt. Pitt seems random but Brian Johnson, current OC/QB Coach, recruited Jalen during his tenure at Texas.

No surprise to see this, guy's talented enough to be #1. He wouldn't get that chance with Alabama and Tua being #1 there.

Negative, Ghost Rider. He would've been doing the entire team wrong by not starting Tua and I'm glad he had the balls to make the call.
I still felt bad for the guy. he was 26 and 2; I'da left him in there to try and work it out. Georgia is a choking team (coach) anyway.

LOL, sorry we finished 2nd, and spoiled your attempt to Tarzan swing from our testicles. Are you guys even the 2nd best team in your state? Seems doubtful.
That's no way to treat a fellow SEC card carrying guy.

After all, swinging on Bama's testicles is a requirement for carrying an SEC card.

He didn't get a raw deal. He got beat out for the job. He chose to stay at Alabama & get better at QB under Dan Enos (which he did), support his teammates, and try to win another national title (which didn't quite work out). I thought Saban should have put him in sooner against Clemson. It might have made a difference in the ball game. Then, again, it might not have. Clemson was a beast in that game.

I wish Jalen Hurts nothing but success in the future.

yes he got beat out that doesn't not make it a raw deal for him personally. It was the move that had to be made but Hurts hadn't played so poorly that he would normally lose the job he has lost two games in two years.

I love Jalen, but Primetime Tom Brady isn't beating Bama in the SECCG with Florida...or getting there.

Primetime Tom Brady on any SEC team is carving Alabama a new @sshole, Lawrence isn't Tom Brady not yet. I don't even like the Tom Brady and I know this.

So the local sports station is reporting that Hurts has been talking to Kyler Murray to get his thoughts if Murray is coming back to OU next year. OU needs a 1 year gap guy to fill the spot until Spencer Rattler is ready. Obviously Murray fits that bill but Hurts wouldn't be a bad 1 year option either.

It is pretty likely he will be the QB in Norman next season.

See with the Air Raid Leach runs I’d love to him to play. We need a guy who can scramble since we rarely run. I wasn’t trying to knock him I just don’t think he fits into the mold Leach likes.

I heard different. Heard Riley told Rattler he would not be taking any more QBs after Rattler.

Picture this.

Jalen to OU.

Battles for the Heisman against Tua.

OU Bama meet again in the cfp.

Man what a fucking story that would be. Media would be jizzing all over the place if Jalen comes to OU.

While I get every QB racks up stats in the Big XII, it's cute that you think Jalen can compete with divinity.

Even at the lowest moments of his life there is NO WAY Jalen EVER did anything to make him deserve even thinking about Kansas.

What’s the status of Kendall?

Isn’t he the next guy up? Or at least for the gap year before Rattler?

Maybe he wants to experience what it is like to lose @ Iowa State? :D

Austin Kendall is supposed to be and hes waited and served his dues but man he's going to have to show me more than what I've seen. He hasn't looked very impressive to me.

Good kid, good teammate, really good running QB. Good arm. But hes so inaccurate he had trouble hitting open 5 star receivers being protected by 5 star linemrn. If he goes to any team with less talent around him he will look even worse.

I agree. I don't think there is anything you do to a fellow human that deserves having to play QB for the grass eater as your punishment.

That’s a similar take my OU friends have expressed.
