Are you implying that OU adding Hurts would result in them not winning the conference? Funny thing about that...both Mayfield and Murray were less than stellar at their previous stops...they come to Norman and BOOM they're historically good.

I'm definitely not saying that OU will be this or that if Hurts decides to transfer there...but elite QBs seem to make their way to Norman lately and they are having some success.

Hurts is a good athlete but he's not on the level of Mayfield or Murray when it comes to slinging the ball around and, while he can run, it's not like he's some speed demon. He would probably put up bigger numbers in an offense like OU but I don't see him being a difference maker even as a system QB. He's progressed but it wasn't hard to see how different the game speed was with him compared to when Tua is in. I like the dude and maybe he'll surprise me. Who knows.

I didn't think that Murray had a chance to be 80% of the QB that Baker was. I didn't have a lot of material to watch though.

We have a bit of Jalen's film to check out. He doesn't suck.

I think he could be as good as OU would need him to be if we can squeeze out 20% more effective defense.

I bet Miami is where he goes.
