Hart and KCP are balling.

But, Lonzo has been ass.

Great for Lakers fans that it doesn't even matter.

They are clubbing the Griz like a baby seal.

He and Ingram are totally getting traded. I don't know when (deadline, next summer, etc), but their days in purple and gold are numbered. Neither has really flourished next to Lebron like some thought. Only Kuzma has really shown out (I don't include Hart because he's more of a role player anyway). The team is winning, but its still because sooooo much of it is just Lebron being Lebron. It looks funky on the court, the pieces don't really work, but somehow they keep winning. Going forward though, their gonna need a more dependable star next to him. Only FAs I see potentially signing there next summer are Boogie (who could be fractions of what he once was) and maybe Kawhi, so trading for help seems like a viable option.

Lonzo is just kinda ok at a little of everything. A meh jumper.

Yea he averaged 7 dimes a game on an awful team. Respectable defender.

Not a top five guy so far obviously

LOL the Wiz are honestly a joke.

The Cavs had Jaron Blossomgame and Jalen Jones- 2 d-leaguers who they JUST signed that played significant minutes--- becuase of the injuries they have and the trades they had 6 players that were avaliable before bringing up Jones and Blossomgame.

The shorthanded Cavs, with an injured Kevin Love, playing on a 2nd night of a back to back, with 2 dleguers beat the shit out of the Wiz!:lol:

Sexton and Tristan Thompson looked like fucking Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire in their primes!!!

The Wiz, 3 "max" guys in their primes, Porter, Beal and Wall, making combined like 80 million dollars got their shit pushed in! by Sexton, Tristan and Cedi!!!!!

holy shit....rebuilding can be tough, and overall I want the Cavs to make sure they have the best lotto odds possible to land Zion, Barrett or Reddish, but nights like tonight are fun. Humiliating a dumpster fire of a team like that.

At least the Cavs are doing the right thing- getting assets, rebuilding- when you see a dumpster fire like the Wiz, who are still trying, are overpaid, underachieve, and just play dog shit unenthusiastic basketball, it makes you happy to have an owner like Dan G. who just took 20M in bad money in order to get a first rounder and 2nd rounder deep into the future.

I am going to laugh really hard when Cleveland is in the exact same place next year trying to make the playoffs with Love, Sexton and the number 6 pick.

Then 2 years from now you will use that cap space to sign somebody like Harrison Barnes.

Until you trade Love, you aren't actually tanking.

Curry was back on the court from his injury on MAy 9th....the NBA Finals did not even start until June 2nd.

Its a fucking joke.....guy is back for WELL over a month....every single player in the NBA is dealing with injuries at that point in the season when they have been playing since October.

This false equivalency of "both sides had injuries" is a fucking joke.

Curry having a sprained MCL in April, being back on the court in Early MAy, and still have people using it as an excuse for him in early June, is fucking hilarious.

The little mouth guard throwing fucker played 35 minutes avg. in every single game in the series. Hurt on April 24th, returned on May 9th, Finals started on June 2nd.

Not QUITE the same as Kevin Love....not quite the same as Kevin Love missing EVERY SINGLE minute of EVERY SINGLE Game in the ECF and Finals, and Kyrie dislocating his knee cap, and missing 5 out of 6 games in a series. I mean for fucks sake....Love and Kyrie- one misses EVERY Game, another misses every game but one--- compared to Curry being hurt on April 24th, returning on May 9th, not playing the Finals until June 2nd, and playing in EVERY game, an average of 35 minutes per night.

what. a. fucking. joke.

Why does it have to be the same?

Point is, if Curry, Iggy and Bogut were close to full speed and Dray plays game 5

GS wins the series. Hands down.

Whether the injuries equate or not doesn't really matter.

If you are going to say GS "got lucky" in 2015, than so did Cleveland in 2016.

Own it.

I went back and looked at some numbers.

There were defintely individual games where Kevin Love was fantastic and he helped get wins for the Cavs.

However, over the course of 4 NBA Finals:

In 616 minutes without Kevin Love on the floor the Cavs were -65
In 450 minutes with Kevin Love on the floor they were -76

In 2016 when the Cavs won, Love missed a game they won by 30, and he averaged only 26 minutes a game in the other 6. One game (another Cavs win), Ty Lue chose to play a healthy Love only 12 minutes.

In other words, stop talking about the Cavs missing Love in 2015 as if he is a game changing player. Because in this particular matchup, Cleveland has actually been slightly better with Love off the court than with him on it.

Kyrie was missed. But the Cavs missing Love probably equates closer to the Warriors missing Bogut. At least in this particular matchup. The numbers tell the story.

Guys,

I want to offer a sincere apology. I made a mistake in my calculations above.

The Cavs played 621 minutes without Love and they were only minus 57 during that span. Not minus 65.

I made a small transposing error during my original attempt.

By the way, the Cavs were minus 43 in 2015.

That means that in the 3 Finals Love took part in, they were -14 when he wasn't on the court and -76 when he was. What a difference maker!

I think you have a shot at Middleton too.

But, in a trade, Beal has to be a top target if you can't get Klay in FA...imo

thats scary

though, - would you rather have Blossomgame and Jalen Jones? whoever those guys are? lol
Worked out for both squads.

Wade went all circa 2006, Flash on the Clippers.

Pillar to post beating in the 4th.

Even when it was close, it wasn't.

@bksballer89 , @Heatles84 , @TurnUpTheHeat

Way to take the paper clips behind the woodshed.

Retro Wade was balling.

Kelly went HAM in the 1st.

Congrats!!

Clippers finally coming down to earth.

If the Heat played like that every game we wouldn't suck so much, so often.

It's not good to have injuries, but it might also not be so good to have a 9-10 man rotation like Spoelstra has to juggle most nights.
