I'm not sure on the front, I believe he intends to sign but not sure he's a semester enrollee... As for the rumors about Wandale getting money, I don't think much of that is true. He has relationships pushing him to Kentucky, mostly his mother who means a lot to him. If Frost and Co can win mom and family over then this one would flip to Nebraska pretty quickly because he likes our offense a ton more than Kentucky's.

Yeah. I don't buy the money thing either. Kentucky was (7-1) when he committed so a pretty easy sell at the time. They went (2-2) after, but still finished (5-3)(9-3) and 2nd place in the SEC East with the head-to-head over Florida who also finished (5-3)(9-3).
Gonna be hard to flip that momentum. IMO

I'm not worried about Frost developing skill positions and getting them into places where they can make plays.

I'd much rather see some 4* DT's in here.

Held visited because he gets to visit once a week. Saving Frost's only visit would be to close the deal.

My guess, Ryan stays in contact with the Robinson's until Wandale considers signing his LOI, then bring in HC Scott Frost to see if he can be swayed. I realize college football is a business, but sometimes family should be considered.

If Wandale's Mom really wants him close to home, I would gracefully get out of the way. No Scott Frost. Move on to the next player(s). There would always be the pressure of Mom and Dad saying negative things, etc etc etc.

If mom was that firm on him staying close to home she could say no to the coach contacts. I think she is doing the right thing by allowing it. She'd like him close to home, but in the end, he's the one who will spend the next 4 or 5 years of his life in the program. He has to make the choice.

ETA: As a coach, I'm not sure I'd want somebody in my program who is only there because that's what my mom (or dad) wanted.

You also don't want one here that is just going to eventually transfer out because they are unhappy with something.

Things are looking good on the Ty Robinson front... USC fired their DL coach which was the biggest reason why he was considering USC in the first place. If I were a betting man i would put my chips on Ty to NU... which would be huge. Don't think Alabama is all that serious in their recruitment of him.

Yeah that's huge USC firing the DL couch. Also I would argue that DL is more of a need then a RB. Don't get me wrong I want both but if I had to choose I would most likely take Ty.

Forget Wandale

It was reported that Robinson actually hosted Nebraska staff members on Tuesday, but in the same interview with Jones, Wandale noted that the Nebraska Cornhuskers are not currently an option and he was trying not to “burn any bridges before signing day.” It’s good to know Nebraska is out of the mix, but it sounds like Louisville is a real threat if they hire Brohm.

There is also a tweet from Held that sounded like the in home was not super dee dooper. The tweet does not say that EXACTLY, but just read between the lines. Held seemed to be doing a little sour grapes in the tweet. Maybe someone else can find it.

Like I said earlier, if Mom ain't happy, leave it be.

Nebraska needs to start winning and Kentucky needs to start losing, then Held can say I told you so.

He posted this on 11/26:

bunch of retweets and this one food pic on 11/27:

so the very first one above is the only thing that could really be it, unless he deleted it.

They like Wandale enough that if they think he's still doubting Kentucky they will try to convince him. Remember, this is the same kid that told an Ohio State reporter a few months ago that Kentucky wasn't really a school he was considering. If Frost and Co can win mom over this could still be a fight till the 19th. Also, Kentucky already used their Head Coach's in home with him so Nebraska will get the last crack.

I need to work on a new Big Board for after the season, tons of movement, new offers etc... visits will be ratcheting up. Expect new names to surface regularly. For example, JUCO CB Tony Wallace is receiving a lot of attention and seems to be a Nebraska lean. Previously, there had been very little buzz around that recruitment.

So, he only played in 4 games this season due to injury. Wonder if he can get a redshirt and play 2 years?

Or was this his senior season and he's getting a do over?

Some rumors swirling on Rivals, 247 and Huskermax that Wandale is going to flip to Nebraska...... something to keep in eye on in the coming days. As I said before, Held tested the waters last week and the whole staff goes in home this week. We already know that Frost was out east on Monday, gonna guess tonight or tomorrow Wandale and Co get a visit from the entire offensive staff.
