I'd take quick in a heartbeat. I think he's had enough in LA could be spectacular in Philly.

Not sure why we haven't heard Dale Hunter he'd be a great pick up.

Anybody here think Quick is done or over the hill? Wonder what it would take to land him.

Mentioned a couple pages ago the Kings have to be considering blowing it all up. They’re terrible, old, up against the cap and have no prospects. What kind of deal can be made there? Quick would be one, Doughty would be another though his contract is kinda scary (8x11 starting when he’s 29). I know they just re-signed him, but surely they thought they’d have a much better team than this when they do.

I don't think Nylander is anything too special he played with Matthews and his points weren't anything too crazy. If he came I'd be ok with it but if not no biggy.

You really think. I've lost count how many times Ghost has been used like a rag doll and gets beat for a goal. Maybe someone should tell him to beef up a little more. I'd love to see them come around but damn.

Definitely his fault on the 2 on 1 dman always has to take the pass away. Either way he should rebound. Good win they needed it. Stolarz looking good hopefully he keeps it up!!!

Don't get me wrong, his offensive upside can be awesome but good lord you have to be physical to play defense.

Playing Ghost and Provorov together is just not working.
Ghost's loose play makes Provorov's issues even worse.

A couple of quick corrections and notes: The Forsberg trade didn't directly get us Kimmo and Scotty Hockey game...it got the Flyers the 1st round pick that they traded back to Nashville for their rights.

Of the young to younger defensemen, Ghost may be the most expendable. It is strange to say, but he doesn't seem to have the spark skating that he had and he also seems no longer able to get his shots through. Without the offensive output, Ghosts loose defense and lack of size are not as easy to stomach.

Did JvR even dress for the Penguins game? Seriously....I really don't remember hearing his name once.
