Baker should have said, "I'm just glad he's not in Cleveland any longer. His coaching sucks giant moose dicks."

I find it funny that Baker makes only some factual statements about the situation..
  • Hue left Cleveland,..
  • Goes to Cinci..
  • Was in their locker room asking them to play...
  • Goes to a team they play twice a year.
Then says, that you can spin it however, but that's how he feels.

Okay fine Baker ... but those are facts, not feelings.

So tell us again out the 'spin' and how you really 'feel'....

It's not like Hue Jackson quit Cleveland so he could go coach for the Bengals.

The Browns fired him.

He went some place that was willing to hire him.

Which is what anyone would do.

He worked for Cincy first. And a lot longer than he worked in Cleveland. Mike Brown doesn't like to fire people. Since his dad got the axe from Art up in Cleveland.

Baker should shut up. He wins games, his coach doesn't get fired in the first place.

I get it, but this ain't college no more...in pro football, you take the pay check, wherever it's coming from.

Didn't Mayfield do something similar in college? Transfer from one school to a rival or some shit?

Baker wears his heart on his sleeve, doesn't sugar coat anything, and tells it like it is. He is an emotional guy and doesn't hold shit in. He is not fake and I think thats a big part of why he is such a complete player already.

And he clearly doesn't know that NFL is a business.

Basically sounds like he bought into some rah-rah BS that Hue probably said, but like I said, this ain't college...you take the paycheck, rival or no rival.

Yep. Baker and a few other Browns were acting childish.

But, overall it is a good thing. This rivalry needed some fuel.

I think you you’re confused. Nobody is crying for Hue. He took a job like any adult would have.

This thread is about Bakers comments which were both ignorant and arrogant. He is a pompous child. In time he will mature.
Lol imagine being this mad you drafted Rosen and couldn’t get Mayfield.

At least the dbacks and suns look goo...... nvm

Yeah.

If the munchkin didn't lose, Hue would be in Cleveland with him. And he wouldn't have anything to cry about.

Hue sucked as a HC, no doubt. but he didn't turn it over four times against Oakland, did he?
Hue wouldnt even let Baker get ANY reps with the first team in training camp, and then had him benched to start the season.

Tyrod might still be playing if not for getting hurt becuase of Hue's stupidity.

Baker has been great since Hue has left. Hue was playing Hyde over Chubb- since Dorsey traded Hyde, Chubb has been one of the best backs in the league.

Its clear that Hue Jackson was doing WAAAAAAAAAY more to harm this team than help this team and that Baker is far and away better off with Hue somewhere else.

“Left Cleveland, goes down to Cincinnati, that’s just somebody that’s in our locker room, asking us to play for him, and then goes to a team that we play twice a year?” Mayfield said, per Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot. “Everybody can have their spin on it, but that’s how I feel.”

Thoughts?

Mayfield will eventually grow up a bit and learn when to keep his mouth shut.

Much ado about nothing maybe. Hue was fired. He can go wherever some idiot like Marvin will take him. I think Mayfield is just young and emotional. He obviously didn't like Hue and his play since Hue left is much better. He probably should have just said it is what it is and left it alone. It was a bait question.

Yep. This ain't college, these guys wanna make money. If "the enemy" is paying, they'll take the job. Also, agree that this was a trap question that he should learn to avoid in the future. Just say you wish him well but look forward to beating him 2X a year
