yes, and schefter just tweeted that a 'postponement' is also a possibility .... what would they do? play it the Sunday after so their bye weeks would be THIS week? i'm sure ESPN wouldn't be very happy to lose a MNF game, especially one that will probably be their highest of the year ...

I'd imagine ESPN still would want it on a Monday, the NFLPA wants a good field for safety, and the NFL wants the game in Mexico City. I'd start expecting a 1 week postponement to the following Monday if we don't start hearing more good news.

so, they would just have TWO mnf games like they do in week 1? if they do that, they better not make the chiefs/rams game the late one because it's hard enough for me to stay up for the regular MNF games....

and that would SUCK for the Chiefs and Rams .... have to play in Mexico City on a monday and come right back and play on a short week

They made the Bucs and Dolphins play basically without a bye last year. Could totally see them pull something like that for the sake of the dollar. They want that Mexico City money.
