Damn! We should have won that game. The Texans did a good job of bottling up our running game but Keenum was better than he's been. Our defense did a good job of stopping their run and limiting Watson. Two missed field goals and a few other questionable calls had us fall short. I was so sure we would win. I think that's why this loss is weighing so heavy on me right now. I just can't get past it. Oh well, I guess I'll look at the bright side in knowing that tomorrow is blessedly a Monday.

I was hoping for a pass to get another 7-10 yards, but it is what it is...

AJ Johnson might see his first game action all year .. With the way Marshall and Davis have played at times, I'm surprised AJ has been a healthy scratch all season

AJ hasn't played football in 3 seasons. He needs all the work he can to learn and get back into football the right way.

When we signed him I had planned on him being one of the 7 on the inactive the majority of the year at least until near the end of the year. Has a lot of talent, but being off so long it seemed logical he wouldn't play much this year.

Everyone knows that if we tried to run one more play and got sacked taking us out of FG range Vance would’ve been crucified.

By the end of the year, we will cut Brandon Marshall. He goes out and scores from other teams go down. TE's seem to gash us less as well.

That is part of the QB's job.

Very doubtful. Brandon Marshall is very well liked by his teammates. We already got rid of a team favorite in DT... Cutting Marshall would send a terrible message to the team in the locker room. We already have players who are having a hard time understanding the trade of DT. (Looking past the business side of it) Will he be gone after this year? Most likely.

Skunk bud is Vance's new nickname with me. Well, that and sir suck a lot.emmm that and not a trick up my sleeve.

This Coach is okay at getting really good draft picks. We will ,not win another game . If we do it will mean we are playing basement dwellers.

Personally, I hope I wake up with your fired !!!

Thomas bolts off immediately after the FG miss without talking to anyone

classy
During timeouts and Qtr changes he hugged a lot of players
Said during the week he spoke to a lot of teammates and it was very emotional. Even missed the equiptmant guys and cafeteria staff.

Manning’s kids waited to get a hug

DT did not want to be traded

I’m ok with how DT handled end of game

Big thank you at the stadium to start the pre game

I have no problem with the end of the game and setting up McMannus for the 51 yard FG. He has been good at making them in the past and being a bit conservative there to make sure you get that chance to win was ok by me.

To me the problem in Denver right now is a lack of locker room leadership. The list of leaders that are gone and have not been replaced is long:
Manning
Ware
Ward
Talib
DT

These guys have all been replaced with young talent but not guys that will lead. Case is the only guy that has been added as a vet with any ability to lead in while unless I am forgetting some guys. I think the 2018 Rookie class will bring a lot of leadership in the future, but it is asking a lot from any rookie to lead a team, especially when they are not a QB.

I agree that there's been a leadership drain over the years but I don't think it's awful. We still have Von Miller, CHJ, Wolfe, Sanders, B Marsh, Paradis, Keenum and a few others.

I think losing the TALENT of those you listed is the far bigger issue!

I agree with both Duff and Crash here

We could have, and probably should have, got McManus in better position for a FG .. But between our pass protection and Keenum holding the ball, a sack was a definitely possibility .. and Keenum was due for his weekly pick ..

Do you risk it ??

McManus has been excellent, and 51 yards is well within his range -- and the wind had died down to nothing

While it is tough to pin this on McManus, he was in position for a game winner

After the game, Thomas commenting on the Broncos, and the loss

"That's what they do over there," Thomas told Mike Silver of NFL.com. "I ain't a part of that no more. We like to win over here."
