Game Thread: Houston Texans at Denver Broncos

The Texans are another talented team, but they have some big injury to Will Fuller. He did some good things to open things up for Hopkins. Their defense is loaded with stars with the biggest being JJ Watt.

The Broncos do play really well at home and I think should be able to get the win. We will see if there more distractions this week with the trade deadline on Tuesday.

Will Fuller is always hurt.

Texans could be a good landing spot for DT.

Hate to see anyone get hurt in the AFC this year.

To me it is, THE AFC vs the Chiefs.

Texans are a tough team to judge. One week they can look like a legit playoff team, the next week they look like bottom 7 team.

DeAndre Hopkins just might be the best WR in the NFL.

Hopkins is in a group that could be debated. Julio is pretty good too. OBJ could be if he can get his head screwed on straight. Thilien needs to get more love for what he has been able to do.

Texans defense is playing good ball right now and the team is cruising to the tune of 5 straight wins. This won’t be an easy game. The Broncos need a win heading into their bye week. They’d be 4-5 and as I alluded a few weeks ago that’s one game worse than I’d have given them before the season started. So definitely not the end to the season if they can go in with a win and come out focused and ready to play ball.

Hopkins is best wr in nfl ,hands down. Look at his production with a million different Qbs/ Oc/Qb coach. Plus he's not a jerk off . That said......Antz, it's time to kiss the season goodbye buddy. Time to smell the coffee pal.

Cravens has to play over Stewart right? I don’t think you can sit a young guy like Simmons who is still coming into his own. Unless of course you take out someone like Todd Davis and run a 3-3-5.

I think Cravens will play a lot of different roles but may be on a snap count given he has not played a game yet this year.

What do you think DT will be able to do? I have to think his impact will be limited, but could be good target in the red zone. His knowledge of the offense has to be limited and timing routes would be hard with only 3 days practice.

I guess I have been pretty busy but I didn't realize Roby was injuries let alone at risk of missing the game. Hopefully Brock and Jones can stay healthy for a game. They have struggled with injuries all year. If I were to guess Freeman will be out also with the Bye week next week the extra rest is probably in his best interest.

I just think Stewart's play has declined and I'd rather not see Cravens take playing time away from young guys or guys who need it. Have it be over Stewart considering he likely wont be here next year.

AJ Johnson might see his first game action all year .. With the way Marshall and Davis have played at times, I'm surprised AJ has been a healthy scratch all season

Doesn't look like we're gonna be able to pull this one off but they played close against a much better Texans team, speaks volumes about Vance as a HC. Both Offense and Defense are still way too inconsistent but they didn't let the Texans big plays take them out of it.

Heart-breaking game outcome. I thought we were going to win in the end. Hard to fault McManus. He's been clutch for so long. Needed to get the ball a little closer but fell short. Bummer that Paradis is arguably out for the season. I'm exhausted from that game. On to the bye week, I guess.....
