Wrong, just ask Iowa fans, Iowa State fans, and Kansas State fans how much Nebraska talent has helped them in the past 14 years. Those schools had a better relationship with Nebraska kids than Nebraska did. Harrison Phillips was overlooked by Bo Pelini and he went on to play 4 years at Stanford. Iowa scored big with Drew Ott another player Bo wasn't interested in. Craig Bohl recruited many Nebraska kids to North Dakota and Wyoming.

Nebraska produces players good enough for Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, North Dakota and Wyoming. How many kids from Nebraska are being targeted by Alabama, CLemson and Ohio State?

Nebraska is a virtual dead sea when it comes to producing elite college football prospects.

It's year one. Nobody should be going all Bill Callahan on Frost yet.

He will take his lumps for a couple of seasons until he gets his kind of players in to run his system. After that, they can judge how well he's doing.

Defensive, weak minded post is defensive and weak minded.

How many 4 and 5 star recruits come out of Nebraska on average per year?

If you're gonna get over Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson, you're gonna need a lot of 4 and 5 star recruits, so most of Nebraska's players are gonna have to come from out of state if you want to be a natty contender.

I don't think any intelligent fan wants him gone. Heard a lot of people nitpicking his post game comments yesterday. A lot of frustration after yeaterday. Losing sucks.

Nebraska high schools with NFL Draft picks in the last 21 years - MaxPreps

There have 24 kids from Nebraska high school get drafted between 2000 and 2014. Since 2015 Nebraska has had Abdullah(Alabama), Gregory(Florida), Bell(Colorado) Valentine(Illinois), Collins(Missouri), Lewis(Arizona), Janovich(Nebraska), Gerry(South Dakota) and Lee(Louisiana) drafted. That adds 1 to that list. Harrison Phillips adds another to the list, but I think that's it. So in a 19 drafts Nebraska high school has produced 26 draft picks. That's pretty shitty tbh.

Just letting you know where the in-state talent was going. Previous staffs avoided many local high schools. I am willing to bet local NAIA colleges have better linemen than Nebraska currently has. Then again, this was a spoiled bunch that got ice cream with sprinkles and didn't have to use the weight room. Last week we found out the defensive line started running gassers after practice to get in better shape. The will to get better is there but it won't happen over night.

And this is not to disrespect Nebraska or the quality of their HS football, but the top tier teams are those who have the built in homegrown talent as their base — Nebraska’s HS talent is sorely lacking. From 2013-2017 — Nebraska had the same amount of blue chip recruits as Idaho and Rhode Island. It puts them in a big hole compared to other schools.

Filling a team with 2 and 3 star recruits from Nebraska makes it impossible to compete against schools bringing in 4 and 5 star recruits every year. Nebraska has to rely on getting those type of players out of state, which is much more difficult.

The state of Nebraska hasn't produced a 1st round pick in the last 25 years(could go back further than that, but that article only goes back to 1993). And it's only produced two 2nd round selections in the last 20 years. If you saw above the state has only produced 26 draft picks since 2000.

I think Frost went to Nebraska and intentionally failed to get Nebraska fans off his nut sack so he can go about coaching at other schools without them begging for him to come back.

He is gone at the end of the year after Nebraska goes 1-11

you are an idiot.

Ok
I'm going out on a limb right now, and say, Nebraska won't lose another football game this year.

Huge turnaround

What of it? How many 1st round picks does the state of Alabama have? I honestly don't know. What I do know is that most of the talent residing in Tuscaloosa isn't from within the state
