I've said it even during his later Chicago years when moron Stacey King tried to encourage the Chicago media market to label him as "Jimmy Jordan".

An in-practice tirade directed at an entire organization that so employs you in not an example of competitive fire. It's called "being an asshole".

At this point it don't even matter how hard you work off the court. Try being a good teammate, dude. And maybe, just maybe, you might actually win some meaningful games come April and May. Your teammates hated you in Chicago. Your teammates currently hate you in Minnesota. It's time to stop blaming your surroundings for your limited success in terms of wins. Dude - It's you.

In order to refresh your memory, here was my post from January of 2017: It's Time for Wade, Butler to Go

Kobe and Jordan both bitched out teammates routinely. While Butlers not on the same level of those guys, the attitude and reasoning behind it is not only reasonable but respectable. Hell draymond bitches out his teammates and coaching staff probably more than anyone in the league.

Trust me, Wiggins and Towns failing to live up to their original potential along with not having competitive attitudes are much bigger issues than Jimmy Butler. Butler's one serious issue is thinking he'd make for a legitimate #1 on a championship team, but that's about it. Also, Thibs is a bigger problem than any of that.

Last year before Butler - T-Wolves are a 31 win team
First year with Butler - T-Wolves are a playoff team - arguably, Jimmy Butler is the reason that the T-Wolves are even relevant right now. So, if Jimmy wants to be selfish, if I'm the T-Wolves, I'm saying go right ahead and be selfish, as long as we get to the playoffs and have a chance at winning a title.

Thing is they don't...

Not because he's a chemistry killer, it's because the West has 2-3 teams that are far superior than the rest of the league. 14 game turnaround in one season. If the relationship with Butler and the Wolves were better, the Wolves might keep getting better and might be a home for other free agents.

What do those players have that Jimmy doesn't? Winning gives your word more meaning, Jimmy has never won anything, sit down and shut up!!

They wrapped up the 8 seed the last day of the season, the west has had top teams for a couple decades and this wolves team with it's current coach is/was never a threat.

Hasn't been a threat for years. Won't argue there. Currently not a threat. Won't argue there. But if they can have a 14 win turnaround in one season by just adding Jimmy Butler, there is a debate that the Wolves get better and better, become a free agent destination and would be able to challenge for a top 4 seed in the West.

Thing is, Thibs was the wrong guy, and Butler (to some extent) and Teague (most definitely) were the wrong pieces to add. I'd have much rather they allowed it to grow organically, as Golden State did with their "kids." It wasn't time to take that leap..... and if anything, it's now stunted their development.

Jimmy was barely recruited out of HS. Went to Ju-Co, then went to Marquette where he wasn't even the best guy on the team. Got drafted in the end of the 1st round and then worked his ass off to get where he is. He doesn't have the natural talent of half of the league, but one summer he locked himself in the gym. He shut off his internet and cable so all he did was eat, sleep and hoop. If he got bored, he went back to the gym.

For a guy who's had to work like that to get where he is, you can see his frustration when guys who have way more talent than he has, work 1/4 as hard. His words should actually hold more weight than guys like MJ and Kobe because you can see what you can accomplish by work ethic and mentality.

Your boss comes to you and says, "hey we want you to keep working hard, but we're not going to give you any more raises. We've given the raises to these other guys that don't work nearly as hard as you do, but we like them better."

You don't think you'd want a better situation?

Nonsense most of these guys work hard, people respect a winner, they don't respect a player who's never done shit getting in their face.

He has played like 59 games for the Wolves and they should fork over over $150M when he's already under contract for another season? How about you go work your ass off Jimmy and show that you do have the ability to lead this team and we will give you all the money we can next year!
