i was then quoting someone talking about the lack of runs. i don't know if you followed last year, but the buzzword was RPO. That hasn't gone away this year. Part of the play calling is Wentz going with what he sees at the line of scrimmage. He's also missed some throws and part of the pressures/sacks come down to him thinking he can make something on every play.

Yeah but that is only if the play call is RPO and that was not the game plan. They play action calls were horrible because the Titans were not lining up in blitz formations. They were disguising what they were doing really well. To combat that Pederson should have went with straight passes catching them in the blitz and throwing behind it.

the Carter return just made things look better.

but to say they're awful, they did game plan well enough to beat the jags last week. yeah, i know they were probably not as focused after beating the patriots and had some players dealing with injuries, but that's every football team.

the RPO's are fine.. but they are straight up abusing slow and pointless play-action. it's that reflex bullshit reid put in place years ago. drop back, cheesy fake that no one goes for and then turn around. when you do it like 15-20 times a game.. it doesn't work for shit. and it just leaves your QB with wasted time. even if it's a half second, it's crucial.
