I don't get why Britton is not the closer yet. My only guess is they know Chapman is returning and wants Britton to get used to his role which would be the 7th inning.

I would prefer Robertson. Britton is not the same pitcher he was 3 years ago.

Maybe not but he is finally coming around. No hits allowed in 5 of his last 7 appearances.

I'd say it's a little too late for the Yankees. Plus it may just get any possible slump out of the way pre postseason.

Yeah not really thinking about the division. The only slim chance they have at the division is to get the lead down to under 6 this week and sweep the Sox next week when they play....and even then, they would need some help over the final 10 days of the season to win the division.

Much to no one's surprise the Sox bullpen is the weakest link. Instead of landing some trade deadline help, Dumbo got Kinsler. Unless the Sox starters can start going 8 innings, the Sox are going to be out of the playoffs very quickly.
