So according to LiAngelo Ball, the reason he didn't get drafted is because...

"The incident in China hurt my draft status".

what i was saying is that- in the grand scheme of things- the loss is not that bad for Miami

if they win the ACC and beat Clemson they are prob in regardless.

As far as the CFP is concerned that was not a huge deal- i think it would only come into play if Miami was ACC champs and LSU was SEC runner up and they had to choose between the two teams which is highly unlikely.

If Miami has 1-2 losses and beats Clemson and wins the ACC they are in. LSU does not change that too much.

Miami's not beating Clemson this year. They returned their entire 1st round D-line. Plus, Richt for whatever reason rides with Rosier (5th year SR) who's probably the most inaccurate and inconsistent QB to ever wear a division 1 CFB uniform. But he was an Al Golden holdover.

I have no idea why he doesn't try and make the g-league. Perform well and a team maybe give you a 10 day contract/2 way deal.

From the little bit of of video that I've seen of him, he's not even g-league material.

Hell, he may not be good enough for his Dad's league. lol

Yeah, he is living in that delusional bubble, fantasy world that his father created and he believes the hype.

It's sad.

Because, at least he could have had a free education.

He needs to head overseas, without the camera crews and his father.

Because, I don't even see him in the G League.

It did hurt his status and he deserved it. Honest people will raise their eyebrows when a person gets caught stealing. My experience is the first time they get caught is not the first time they did it and if they will still from a store, they will steal around you. No one in their right mind wants to put a thief in the locker room, but in my opinion that alone did not destroy his chance

Dropping out of college, not taking the punishment, academic suspension that was going to come is what really killed him. Had he faced it, came back next year and played - and proved that is was an isolated incident - I think If he has real talent, would have had a good chance - but again - He quit and who wants to deal with LaVar Ball. Other teams have already seen the crap the Lakers have had to put up with because of Lonzo Ball - and for thief with no talent - No way in hell anyone is going to touch him.

He was the least talented of the 3. But the kid's built and should've looked into football.

If the dad's serious about his brand, then hope your middle kid works out in football (basketball players tend to make good football players, particular tight ends given the foot work you carry over). If he would've somehow made the NFL, you could try to get a piece of the football market with BBB.

Opportunity wasted and trying to rush the process.

Yeah, I agree. Hopefully all 3 of them, but especially LiAngelo and LaMelo, will wake up soon and realize the damage their father is doing.

Plus, it's not like he sucks at basketball. As you point out, at the very least, he could have gotten a free education from it.

He's just not NBA level good and probably not G-league level good.

But I'd bet he can make a solid career playing in an overseas league. No shame in that. Guys who can't make it in the NBA can and do make really nice careers (and a lot of money) playing overseas.

Although I'd avoid the Chinese leagues if I were him.

The point, and why it's funny, is...he didn't have any draft status because no one was going to draft him even if the China thing didn't happen. He's not good enough.

So it can't hurt what he didn't have.

Jokes are so much funnier when you have to explain them. :L

Gambling? Here's a bet for you. Over/under 3.5 wins for the Browns this year? And keep in mind that backwards ass franchise (thanks Haslam!) has only won 4 games the previous 3 years.:L Homer Simpson once said: the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. I wonder if he meant the Browns?:noidea:

Nah, overall winning percentage of .511 all time. Pretty mundane and average really.
