You can actually find people who haven't aid, that will pay just because you call them?

It's verbal jiu jitsu.....if you're good......you can do well.

Popped some 3k and 5k deals during tax season.....just last week I popped a 3,500 and 3k on 2 different days.

I like that move a lot for Houston. Improves their bench and gets more athletic at the 4

Suns must really like Melton to take on a bigger contract for him, but both have 2 years left so it's not that much worse especially since they aren't expected to be good yet.

I still don't know if Chriss is actually good so I can't really say if it helps Houston or not. Melton looked pretty solid in Summer League (it's Summer League bro, chill) like he could have been a late draft steal but I guess they figure he wasn't ever gonna get much time.

I don't like this move for either team. Maybe they weren't happy with Chriss' developement...Maybe it just that Knight and Chriss didn't really fit the culture anymore in Phoenix and they were willing to move them for just about anything. They did need help at PG though, and Melton at least provides some depth.

Houston seems to be officially going backwards. I don't see how Chriss and his career 30.9 percentage from three fits on a D'Antoni team. Morey must know something...Maybe this means Carmelo starts at PF??? :noidea:

yah i am not a huge fan of this trade but do think that Anderson could help in Phoenix--- they must not have trusted Chriss to consistently hit a 3.

Hope he's been working on it this summer. In his 2 years in the league, he is a 30% 3 pt shooter on 414 attempts....Not good

Need to try and get that up to 33 or 34% this year at least

yah a stretch 4 that cant stretch the floor just isnt worth much. lol

on the other hand- i have to think a stretch 4 is a hard thing to develop- when young big men come into the league they are just so overmatched size wise. I think big men definitely have a hard time adapting to the NBA early on than guards do. I wouldnt give up on a guy like Chriss or Bender--- but at the same time- it looks unlikely that either will be helpful before their rookie K's are up.

Some rare NBA news in very late August.

Wow...Houston won the Shit out of that trade just by getting rid of Anderson for one year of Knight.

Melton was a terror in Summer League.

But, he was 4th string at the point behind Paul, Harden, Carter-Williams.

He should play immediately in Phoenix.

I'm not ready to call Chriss a bust.

But, he needs to show us something now that he will be spoon fed by above average playmakers.

I thought it was a given that he was starting there....unless you thought PJ was a full-time 4?

I think the Rockets are setting themselves up for next Summer.

I don't know what maneuvers they'd need to make to get in on the Kawhi race.

But, dealing a year of Ryan's contract is probably a good start.

doesnt it wear at your soul asking people for money that obviously dont have it?

I couldnt cold call people and ask them to pay money like that. It would chip away at my sanity.

Oh Shit....

Knight has 2 years remaining on his deal.

That looks hella different....

I guess that 5 mil difference in salary made it worth it for a tax team.
