Wouldn't touch him in fantasy unless he dropped to round 10+

Lol you have much to learn. I've already educated the majority of eagles fans by now. After half were freaking out the last two years.

I'll give you the short version, but there is further analysis and ample evidence on the Eagles board over consecutive years. The cap is meaningless.

The cap is massagable as fuck.

Your cap hell wishes are as comical as they are imaginary.

The cap is massagable as fuck.

Repetition is the key to your learning.

The cap is massagable as fuck.

I'll throw $10 his way and hope he's still upright when my starting QB has his bye.

I would take 10 years of salary cap hell for one SB title. As a Cards fan, you should understand this line of reasoning.
Your wish may come true sooner than you think.

My wish did come true, you are right. My team finally won something.

Cool enjoy another decade plus of nothingness. The bright side is you're used it to so it won't be a dramatic change.

Christ everyone is worried when this kid is coming back,
Let the process happen and he'll be back on his terms and comfort....

This. There's zero reason for them to gamble Wentz's entire future by rushing him back. As great as Foles did in the playoffs/Superbowl last season, I firmly believe the Eagles would never have been in the position they were without Wentz leading them at QB for most of the regular season to help secure the #1 seed. They would probably have been an 11 win team at best with Foles leading the entire way, meaning they could have easily had to play multiple road games in the playoffs. It would be senseless to risk a decade+ from your franchise QB over a small handful of regular season games, especially right after your team won a Superbowl.

In general. Like if Baltimore end this season 10 million over would they be in cap hell?

A couple of cuts and reworking some contracts, not that much in cap hell. Eagles at 30 mil over will need more then just a couple of cuts and reworked contracts. It's cap hell to start off next season so next year will be a good barometer of Howie the GM.

That’s my point. Let go of Foles (a backup) and we are only 10 million over.

He hasn’t had the consistency to be labeled a great GM but he was always known for being a cap wizard. I’m not sweating it at all. I’m more worried about getting Wentz healthy
