I'm not just saying no to be different here but I would keep Barkley. I think right now his value is way more than mixon and an injured guise. The draft picks are nice but Barkley has the potential to be off the charts. I would keep Barkley cause I beleive this deal will be here for you anytime you want it and I believe even more deals will come in the longer you hold out. Just my 2 cents Harold

The downside of this offer is it leaves me with no obvious RB1, but a slew of RB2 and next years draft isn’t promising to land a stud RB.

I appreciate the post, not to sure that other deals will be rolling in, because this league doesn’t seem active at all when it comes to trades. However I really like Barkley much more then Mixon and I’m not high on Guice, even before the injury.

I’m a hard no on this trade. We are talking about next year rookie picks. This trade only works for you if Barkley is a bust. If he is the hit that you drafted him to be then this will backfire big on you. As you are relying on low end rookies from next year to be your franchise savior.

I take it your not big on Guice or Mixon becoming studs? Or any of my other rookie RBs hitting big.

Guice is missing the season.

And if any of your other rookies make it big they will be worth something themselves.

Basically you are giving up on this season already. Even with you potential rookie studs.

Wait and see what happens. You can get more from anyone if success is there.

And if it is not there then you will get an elite top pick for next year either way

I would probably accept that trade, but then again, I probably would not have drafted Barkley at 4. I also can agree with what Milk and The Foot are saying. I'm not sure I would accept that trade for the guy I would have chosen at 4, if that makes sense.

IDK about giving up on this season, but hurting my odds maybe. A third outcome could happen, that Barkley does OK, but not the outright stud . I hate when a player has hamstring problems in preseason, that injury seems to remain a problem through out the season.

Well drafted Barkley just to own him in one league at least, just in case he becomes the real deal. I have my doubts on that.

How is hamstring problems worse than trading for a player that is not playing at all this season. Of course if you are high on mixon. But do you really think he had too 5 rb potential?? Barkley has number one pick potential!!

Barkley also has bust potential. The man has just as many fantasy points in his NFL career as I do.

You know what second round rookie draft is!! It is more of a crapshoot than first round and with lesser talent.

If you thought he was a bust then don’t take him with the 4th pick. If you don’t like him and you are looking to retrace your “mistake” then do it. But don’t convince yourself that it is a good move for this season. It is not. And it is only a good move if he is a bust. Because even if he is ok( for the expectation) then he will be better than Mixon. Unless you are that high on mixon. So the real question is how high are you on mixon??

I think I agree with what your saying. I see Mixon as a high RB2 at best on the Bengals, I see Guice as a bust and even that draft pick unless it turns into a top three pick isn’t that valuable.
Course if Barley is just another RB2 I’ll end up regretting not accepting the offer. This has been a tough one for me, appreciate all the input from you all.
