lol
Raptors scored big time
Weren't going anywhere with Demar. They gave it one more shot last year and it didn't work. They did if they can convince Kawhi to extend his contract, otherwise they gave up a solid player and other parts to at best lose in the finals and then need to start rebuilding.
This is the best news for the Lakers, they dont need to worry about giving up any young pieces to get Kahwi now, they can now package those to add a 3rd star.

hahahahahaha
Far from a lock he goes to the Lakers next summer.
true...lol....Weren't going anywhere with Demar. They gave it one more shot last year and it didn't work.
Even if they get to a final and then lose him for nothing that would still be the best season in team history, would make them a shit ton of money in merch and they get a rebuild going that they would have to face down anyway if things this year didn't go well.
I'm just hoping the fucking guy shows up lol.
in a way....maybe we should not be surprised that Pop traded for an All Star under contract and some additional pieces instead of a couple of kids who have never done anything but lose.This.
And I've been saying that Pop was NEVER going to trade Kawhi to the Lakers, that was beyond wishful thinking. On top of that, I was always told that the Lakers offered the best package. Well, the Raptors just traded an all-star to the Spurs (more players are going to be announced in the trade).
I kind of agree, but people were saying that about Paul George last year. Personally, I hope it works out for Toronto.IMO he goes there for one year then he becomes a Laker
