Indycar can go to hell for the annual traffic nightmare coming up next weekend.

we used to have Indycar in Vancouver ... it was ok to attend but yah traffic nightmare ... it ended up leaving Vancouver in 2004 .... AND WENT TO HELL !!! :thumb:

There will be no more Vancouver Molson Indy races, ending a racing tradition in the city that goes back over 15 years.

Edmonton, the new host city, will have its race on 2.5-kilometre road course near the old downtown municipal airport on July 17.

I went to the Toronto one a lot growing up, mostly because we couldn't afford to make the trip to Montreal for the F1 every year.

And I remember the Vancouver one being pretty successful in the 90s before Indycar split in two and torpedoed the entire system.

So, why not rotate the F1 race between Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver? Lord knows there'd be demand like crazy for it in each city. And then it'll eventually go to Edmonton and F1 will die.

In vancouver it literally was a traffic nightmare. The race was annually held in the false creek area downtown which was being redeveloped and the athletes village for 2010 going to be built there.

There is no course option that i can think of for f1 in vancouver that could work imo :noidea:
