the thigh injury is concerning from what i read.I like Magic's approach. The reason I disagree with you here is because he will be FREE next year to sign out right - without having to give up assets. Couple that with his unknown health. Think about this: he's been out basically a year with a thigh injury. Should that really have taken this long to heal? My guess is there's something else going on. Also, he was the one player people thought was the most mild mannered and would NEVER demand a trade. After this circus how do you know he won't do the same thing in LA - especially if what we heard about him not wanting to play on a superteam is true?
it seems like its not something that just heals and goes away like a broken bone. you break your leg- it heals- and sometimes even heals stronger- whoop d- doo-
with kawhi's injury it seems like something that is chronic and may continue to pop up and have to be managed during his career.
