The Lakers are betting on Kawhi, or KD or someone, in a year now that they got Lebron. Makes sense. They will be OK next season, then make the real run a year from now.

As for Philly, this leaves them in a precarious position. I would just keep building with youth if I were them at this point, as they missed on the easy boost.

The Lakers will be okay but they aren’t winning a ship or anything close to it with this roster

Not this coming season, probably a 7-8 seed. If we even make the postseason in a deep WC.

Buit, then next summer when there is a better and deeper crop of FA's......James will be recruiting players hard.

He made the right decision going to LA-LA Land. I say that because LeBron w/ the 76ers would have been a big headache for the Celtics.

Well he doesn’t need to recruit, looks like Kawhi wants to be in LA. They can add a 3rd guy possibly once they get rid of Deng, assuming that will be next year.

Even more important though is where will JR be playing next year?

Yeah will a couple of those salaries not having much guaranteed next year I could see jr, Korver and Hill possibly gone. Hil only $1M guaranteed next year. JR only has 3.8M. The Korver contract should be easy to trade

I just have to believe another shoe will be dropping sooner- whether its Kawhi or something.

It still boggles my mind that LeBron would sacrifice his age 34 and go into it knowing he has little chance of even making the Conference Finals, let alone the Finals. That surprises me. It really really does.

He probably has, at least what i think, is 2 more years as the NBA's best player- and this upcoming year he will not make the Finals. That really really surprises me. It seriously shocks me.

If Gilbert wasn’t cheap, he’d prob still be with the Cavs.
