James, Kawhi and PG would wipe the floor with them

All 3 play the same position. But other than that what team do they play on? Let's just say that there are no rules for the CBA and any team can just go out and sign any player. Those 3 players still can't go to any team that would be good enough to beat GS. Maybe your team can add Westbrook and Embed? Greek can come off the bench.

I don't think you've been paying attention to anything basketball related the last few weeks.

Try to think a bit harder and maybe you'll get there...

So they have changed positions in the last few weeks? Somehow they have changed their physical sizes? And how they play the game?

You are aware there are some players out there who can play multiple positions, right?

They are the same player. James is just the best. Which one guards Curry? Or Clay?

PG, Lebron and Kawhi are the same player? And you claim to know your basketball?

Sorry bucko, you just lost all credibility.

Again, honest question, did you watch the WCF?

I watched Lebron play as hard as he could and lose. Did you see something different? Did you see a 7 game series? One that went to the last play? What were the scores?

Dude, why is it so hard for people to back down from arguments? LeBron Kawhi and PG would be very very tough on the Warriors. Easily the toughest they've faced. They wouldn't run them off the floor like @Shaqdaddy11 said but that's an equal matchup. Not that one on one covering is how the NBA works anymore but PG on Durant, LeBron on Klay, Kawhi on Curry, that's plenty of defense. The Rockets gave the Warriors all they could handle in the WCF and were a Chris Paul hammy away from maybe winning.

You don't have to be right every time you post. This time, you're not.

The Warriors aren't completely unbeatable and they could have lost to the Rockets. But, some on here make it seem like they should have lost to the Rockets.

Keep in mind, the Dubs had a +73 point differential for the series and lost 2 very close games when they were without Iggy. The Warriors were defintely the better team when both were full strength. But, yes, injuries can and will happen.

LeBron, Kawhi and PG would be an awesome test. Which team would have the edge would depend wholly on how the Lakers would fill out the rest of the roster.

But lastly, they do not play the same position. In a nominal old school basketball sense, sure, but not in 2018. LeBron is your primary ball handler and all 3 can defend 1-4. Where @Scapegoat sees 3 SFs, I see a dream come true for positionless basketball. And if you are going to have redundancy, the best place to have it is with long, versatile wings who can shoot.

That's a ton of talent. But I just don't think you can throw players together and they maximize their talents. The GS players fit together.

I get what you're saying and these are 3 good ones to make that argument with. Beats the twin tower philosophy. Lebron can do a lot of things but I don't think he can guard Curry. And I know the reverse can also be said.

Again, I'm not saying that Big 3 automatically beats the Ws. But come on, you obviously have other players on the roster filling roles, and that team is every bit as good. Definitely their toughest matchup ever,

He doesn't guard Curry, PG and Kawhi do. LeBron would be on Durant and Klay and sometimes Draymond and sagging off him. There's really no such thing as a guy guarding another guy all game, with all the switching.

He doesn't have to guard Curry though. And he defintely guards Curry a hell of a lot better than Curry guards him.

But, if LBJ is your ball handler, it means you can start another 6-7 wing type. Either George or Leonard could guard Curry as well as anybody in the league. And the interchangibility defensively would be sick.

Remember, a long time ago before positionless basketball was a thing, the Bulls rolled without a PG. they had Jordan, Pippen and Harper, made possible by Pippen's ability to handle the ball, initiate the offense and hound PGs defensively.

George and Kawhi wouldn't need to handle the ball like Pippen could, but they could each do the defensive part. I think their theoretical defensive matchups would look like this:

Kawhi on KD
George on Curry
Player X on Klay: you do not want LeBron on Klay. Literally the worst possible matchup for him
LeBron on Dray or Iggy

Lonzo could neutralize Klay. Papa Ball sayz so.
