Orioles still going in the complete wrong direction and most certainly won't be keeping him... So where does he go?

I chose the Yankees because it seems like every year his name has been linked to the Bronx? That would be a nastier lineup. Just imagine if Stanton starts hitting the ball like he is capable of doing.
I think the Yanks are doing things finally the right way. They have a very deep farm system and developing them through the system is imo the best way. That being said, if it were me, I would be looking for SP and possible a middle reliever to build for the playoffs. I think Houston is going to be a bitch to beat in a series with that starting pitching staff. Yankees don't need Machado. They need their starters to get healthy and add a SP for the playoff run imo.it would be tremendously scary! However.... Would the Yankees be willing to move around their young guys at 3rd/ss or do they stick with what they have since they have been producing.

Phillies have a lot of interest in him. They have the pieces to make the deal. I'm not sure if he would put them over the hump. Phillies need middle relief pitching badly. Their bullpen has given up leads lately and continued to lose games late. Example, last night Nola pitched a hell of a game and the relievers did almost everything to lose that game last night. Luckily they pulled it off.Surprising team might be the Phillies......
Now this makes sense Cubs have bryant at 3rs and russell at SSSurprising team might be the Phillies......

Not sure the nats want to replace rendon and no way they replace turnerI can't see Baltimore trading him within the division, so no to the Red Sox and Yankees. The Cubs have been talking a lot about getting him, but why when you have Russell and Bryant and Rizzo already? The dodgers just got Turner back and that kid that was playing 3rd in his absence is good enough that they don't need him either.
So I went with the Nationals, and a bonus for Machado of staying in the same general area.

braves could trade for him as a rental if they believe they can make the playoffs![]()
I agree with the Nats replacing their guys, but it looks like most teams are in the same boat and this move gives Machado a chance to stay in the area. Is Macahdo a 5/10 guy?
and they have the money, correct?
Washington is a big enough market to afford him yes.
Yeah they might be up there as well...
As far as the 5/10 I'm not sure nor have I been able to find out... Granted I suck at finding stats. He's been with the Orioles for 7 years I believe
