I do love that some people think it is a ridiculous thing to think the NBA may be rigged, when a referee has actually stated such back in the day.

I’m glad you agree with yourself

i do love that its the first thing ppl jump to when events happen, cause god forbid things cann occur IRL

Only the losers do it. It's just not possible their team can lose fairly.

Theres no doubt they lose MILLIONS of bucks and viewers if we have the shitty Celtics in the finals.

But Warriors/Cavs part 4 won't be much of a series either. I doubt the Cavs could even beat the Rockets without CP3

I get the East is weak, but really? LeBron has been to the Finals for how many straight years now? I also get the GS Warriors are stacked, loaded with all-star talent, with that comes the big name players. But what fun is a sport when it becomes so predictable?

For 4 years now we have all known back in October that it was going to be Warriors/Cavs. Sports, like March Madness, College football, NFL, baseball is unpredictable, even the stacked teams don't win it all, all the time or even make it to the title game all the time. In the NBA it is quiet the coincidence that your biggest named player and the team with the biggest names are ALWAYS in the Finals together. It just becomes interesting because the series against other teams goes to 5-6-7 games now instead of these sweeps we used to see. but in the end, it's the same outcome.

Until the NBA shocks me with someone actually stepping up and knocking off LeBron's team in the East and the Warriors actually get eliminated prior to the Finals, I just find it too coincidental these two are always in the Finals.

Think of ratings and marketing for an injured Celtics team with a bunch of no name young players vs Rockets. That does not appeal to the casual fan.

If cavs win the title it goes 7 games.
If Warriors win the title it'll go to 6 games. GS takes 2-0 lead, loses 2 in Cleveland, then win games 5 and 6.

The only rigs I know are oil rigs but the truth is, in a 7-game series, the team with the best coaching usually wins. You play the same team 4 times in 6 days, you ain't foolin' anybody. It's not brain surgery.

Presumably Paul should be back for the Finals if he is a game time decision today.

Either team beats the Cavs in 5.

nope.

Houston is not as well organized as the Celtics and the Celtics couldn't even finish off the Cavs while up 3-2. LeBron will single handily shut down the Rockets, and the NBA will see LeBron carrying his team to a championship single handily as a great storyline.

But alas the Rockets aren't winning game 7 due to the questionable availability of Paul. Ain't no way an injured Rockets team goes into the Finals vs LeBron over a healthy GS team.

@bksballer89

I'll be completely honest... I stopped watching the NBA games for a while because of past riggings by the refs... until this year.. and with the Rockets finally playing some great basketball I got interested again... But I see the writing on the wall and the script has already been written for this game...

Game 6 was so blatant after the Rockets jumped out to a HUGE lead and was hot .... the refs had no choice but to be blatant to change the momentum... There were at least 20 times the Rockets drove to the bucket with no foul called .... only to go right back down the court and get called for a hip check on Durant...

You watch tonight how many away from the ball fouls Ariza is called on Durant... Minimum of 2... They are making sure Durant is getting his space...

But It's ok. We'll get Lebron after this season and then we will be the darlings for a few years and the league will grant us a couple championship for stealing this one from us.

oh shut the fuck up you dumbass

Please elaborate. Who do you think is fixing the games? TV networks? Are the players throwing the games? If so at what point does someone tell a player like Jason Tatum that he is now an actor - not an athlete? Who is paying who? By talking about ratings and repeat final match-ups you are suggesting this goes way higher up than a lone wolf ref.......If you are not sure then what theory to you sounds plausable?

Yeah if I recall you've been predicting wrong things a lot this playoffs.

Well talk about acting, look at how Harden draws fouls.....

This goes back to Stern's regime and has carried over to Silver. Much like Vince McMahon runs the WWE, Silver runs the NBA. It ain't hard to slightly tilt a game having refs getting teams in foul trouble early, getting one player in foul trouble early, calling fouls to halt momentum. Or we see on replay how ridiculous some of these acting jobs Harden does on 3 pointers, they call the fouls and Harden is at the line shooting 3 free shots, that's an easy 3 points.

I've been saying GS/Cavs all season long, probably dating back to last June.

I posted somewhere here that both WCF/ECF series would go to game 7's, GS and Cleveland would win and the series conference final series will be seen as ho-hum, lets move on to Part IV.

Anytime LeBron drives to the basket, you literally could call a foul because of all the contact. Sometimes they call it, sometimes they don't. If need be, in like a game 7 or critical moment, they will call it.
