Funny.

I was actually thinking exactly the opposite. Not that DWill isn't a ****, but that Jerry Sloan was stuck in the stone ages.

Sorry, but if you as a coach are going to get that bent out of shape because your PG ran your play to the other side of the court from what you wanted, then you probably shouldn't have a job working with human people. He didn't pull a LeBron and completely change the play, he ran it to the other side. No need for that moment to lead to somebody's resignation.

I agree. Sloan was a dinosaur when he retired and it seemed time for him to go.

Been saying it all year, the more games Harden plays the more prone he is to chuck it in and head to the strip club. Just watch.

And there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with heading to the strip club.

Harden has a Westbrook complex. He always seems to get destroyed by Russ every time they meet.

Russ was 10-28.

He didn't destroy anyone

I mean Westbrooks defense on the guy. Harden picks up a tech almost every time thy meet. Westbrook can just frustrate the shit out of him and get him out of his game.

Kind of hoping OKC somehow makes their way up to the 5 seed so that second round matchup can play out.

You cannot read too much by the Warriors and Rockets playing out the stretch.

They have been locked into their seeds for a while now and are playing vanilla offense and not to get hurt.

I imagine important players like ERIC GORDON and RYAN ANDERSON would have played against OKC if the game meant anything to them. But, Houston was able to sit them in a meaningless game

I expect both teams to be 2-0 after the first two games of round one.

Houston gets frustrated so easily. Can't wait to see them crying in the playoffs lol. They crack so easily

That's why I just can't buy them as a true contender yet.

While it shouldn't necessarily be the case, the game is officiated differently in the playoffs. Teams are typically allowed to be more physical.

If the Rockets are going to continue to be frustrated so easily and worry so much about the refs, they are likely looking at the same results they've been getting in the playoffs.

You need to change your password. I think Monty has hacked your account. lol
I know but one can be worried without being a permabear troll. If you were a Warriors fan you'd have some concerns too

I would expect my team to be playing in June.....
They still have a very good shot, all depends on Curry's health. But if you don't see the problems compared to last year you are being kind of silly.

Yes and no. Sloan was definitely "old school" and was going to need to either retire or make some changes to his coaching style. Back in the day, coaches coached and players played. There wasn't a whole lot of collaboration. That's what Sloan was used to.

On the other hand, when things like this happen, it's almost never a one sided thing. This was likely something that had been simmering for quite some time and just happened to come to a head that night.

If we were ever to get the entire story, it's likely that both were at fault and could have handled things better.
