I got they kill off mike and Rachel.

Kill off?

Nah. That’s not what this show does. MAYBE Rachel’s dad dies, and she decides she wants a fresh start and they move to California or something. Maybe some mysterious British royal needs lawyers on retainer and they both move to London.

They will get a happy ending, I think.

Show also really needs to start setting up its identity for season 8. it really has struggled to do that since Mike went to prison.

They had to eventually pay off that arc, and kudos to them for doing it. But yes, the show will need to find a new identity without that hook. Just making it a blah blah legal drama is stale, but I am not sure they have any options.

I actually thought the Mike as an I-banker role could've worked.

They wear suits too.

I guess Katherine Heigl and the already really hot blonde chick will need to have stepped up and better defined roles.

Or this become the Louis and Harvey story.

Isn’t Gus a Sr Partner? And Louis was a Sr Partner before he got his name on the wall.

My only point about Mike being discussed for Sr Partner was because it was explicitly said in the episode that Harvey wanted to offer him the title and Donna talked him out of it.
