I know it started back up. I haven't watched yet. I've spent this much time on it already, I feel like I have no choice but to continue. Is there really any reason to?
It is still quite good. Not GoT or BCS good, but not to the level of guilty pleasure either. It is just good.I know it started back up. I haven't watched yet. I've spent this much time on it already, I feel like I have no choice but to continue. Is there really any reason to?
Over the years I think it turned into guilty pleasure for me. I guess I feel like I've invested enough time into these characters that I want to see how it plays out. In the past three years I've gotten better about not investing into shows, though I'll give most shows a chance. This is one of those shows I think I'm pot committed with. My worst example is Supernatural. Loved the first 4 seasons and think they had a great ending to the story, until they learned they got picked up for another season, since then it's had it's good times and bad.It is still quite good. If you don't like it, give it up. No point in wasting your time. It isn't earth shattering.
Never watched SN. I tried to get into it a couple years back through Netflix, but the pilot put me to sleep. Now I see the 12 season run and am too intimidated to try to pick it up again.Over the years I think it turned into guilty pleasure for me. As a kid, x-files is one of the shows i remember watching with my parents and enjoying. overall, i'd highly recommend it, but if you're not too much into the sci-fi supernatural genre, you can skip it.Never watched SN. Similar story with X-Files. I never watched it on first run, and now there is just too much material to watch.
I do like that kinda stuff, typically. It is just too daunting a task to tackle 12 seasons. As a kid, x-files is one of the shows i remember watching with my parents and enjoying. overall, i'd highly recommend it, but if you're not too much into the sci-fi supernatural genre, you can skip it.
If you take it slowly, it might not be too bad. It's summer, I'd like to say there's some free time, but here I am firing up the new season of the Strain. I don't know what your defination of guilty pleasure is, I read James Patterson books, so I figure Zoo is a guilty summer pleasure. Kid nuked a city last episode, in a frustrating manner, fuck, now i see they open it up with a guy on a leash, we'll see how this goes.I do like that kinda stuff, typically. And 40 second later, i'm down to enjoying this (the strain) as a guilty pleasure. If you take it slowly, it might not be too bad. Plus falling sky had Will Patton, granted, even then the show wore him down, but he started off great in it. the sons in that show and their arch, went terrible, and the child with moon that was deus ex machina, started out promising thoughStrain is a show that I a man holding on to only because this is the last season. I always think of it in terms of Falling Sky, but I know it isn't a perfect comparison...
Falling Sky had a GREAT first season. 2nd season was still OK, but a far cry from S1. Everything after that was pure garbage, but S1 showed enough promise that I stuck around, just in case. It didn't. The last few episodes were rage-inducing bad.
Strain S1 was not as good as FS S1 and the subsequent seasons have not been as bad, but I still see a similar arc going here..
The cast was good enough that the acting should NOT have been as bad as it was. Will Patton, Moon Bloodgood, Mira Sorvino, Noah Wylie... the level of acting that actually came out of that show can only come from the actors realizing the level of drivel they were working with.Plus falling sky had Will Patton, granted, even then the show wore him down, but he started off great in it. the sons in that show and their arch, went terrible, and the child with moon that was deus ex machina, started out promising though
I very much enjoyed Leverage, that ended (also like Warehouse 13), very willing to jump onto a new project with players from those shows. Hence, I've watched the Librarians with Noah Wylie and will continue to do so.The cast was good enough that the acting should NOT have been as bad as it was. Suits without Patrick J Adams?
What is the point?
well, there is no point of his character anymore anyway... if everyone knows who he is, then the fact he was a fraud is now irrelevant... so basically he is just another partner of a firm... do we really need it to be him and Harvey?? But either way, this show should be at its end...
Wasn't Suits supposed to premiere it's second half of season 7 last night on USA Network? When I turned to the channel it had Law and Order in the slot instead of Suits
