that offfense could be scary
Hard to say right now. On paper they'll at least be more competent forcing the rest of the division to take them seriously. This will be the first time that Tyrod has a decent supporting cast so I'm curious to see how well he does.

QB - Taylor
RB - Barkley?
WR1 - Gordon
WR2 - Landry
WR3 - Coleman
TE - Njoku

If they can add 1 or 2 more pieces to their O-line they will be dangerous. Curious to see if Joe Thomas comes back.

So the Browns pickup Carlos Hyde. Does that mean they pass on Barkley in the draft?

Not necessarily but if they pick Barkley that would make Hyde a back up or part of a rotation. Would they be a good rotataion though???

That's what good franchises view as a "good problem to have".

I don't see how they could pass up on Barkley. But maybe they do and they try to bolster their defense? After shipping Shelton off they may be looking at Chubb? I think no matter what they go for a QB at #1 or #4. They cannot view Tyrod Taylor as their mainstay. If they did then they are going to continue to be the Cleveland Browns... And you know exactly what I mean by that

Browns are skipping Rosen & Mayfield's pro days... Interesting

They are either honed in on Darnold & Allen or they are happy with Tyrod Taylor? lol. Either way, this seems like a very Cleveland Browns thing to do.

Or maybe they've finally learned to blow smoke screens???

Didn't think of that! Browns could finally be using strategy with their draft process... Something that has eluded them for decades.

I've heard that's a half truth...Hue nor GM, but a VP Scouting was there supposedly.

Having Hyde and Barkley would be a tough duo to face twice a yr. I'm thinking they will take Barkley #1 and get their QB at 4...several DTs in this draft.

Bengals trade for Cordy Glenn - Potentially addressing biggest question mark on the team. Success will be dependent on his health.

They have also re-signed Tyler Eifert. Again, all success depends on his health.

Hard to predict how this is going to work out. It's a lot to ask for these two guys to be healthy, but if they are healthy it definitely makes the Bengals more competitive than they've been the last 2 seasons.

Yep, it looks as if Glenn had been run out by a rookie contract or was going to be...maybe not Whitworth but some stability.

We all know what Eifert is...if healthy.

With his injury history a prove it to me deal was probably his best option regardless of team...at least CIN is breaking him off nicely for 2018.

I saw where Burfict has probably nixed the trade with OAK on the count of his PED bust....don't if that's good or bad...the fact that Adam Jones is not coming back and they tried to ship Burfict out west...maybe Lewis is finally trying to address some of the thug mentality in the locker room.

Yea but this should be a concern for us......

Crabtree and Wallace in our secondary is not a good thing.

If anything I think it'll be good for our DBs. Playing in the AFCN they are rarely challenged to be the best they can be. Even if they fail it'll force the coaches to take action earlier instead of waiting until the postseason every year for them to let them down miserably.

But I admit, that is the offseason optimist inside of me talking. On gamedays I'll be singing a different tune.

FA WRs can be tricky...sometimes they gel with the QB early, but a lot of times it takes 3 or 4 games, sometimes they never really do.

FWIW...Wallace is still out there...Crabtree might be a replacement for Mike.

This is a critical offseason...I think the FO knew FS would be a high priority, but obviously I think they thought they would be working on a long term deal for Shazier...now they have the two holes and not much money with this tag...ILB got filled.

Aside from somebody getting cut, Tre Boston and maybe Michael Thomas are names out there...I thought Kurt Coleman got overpaid, maybe that's why Boston is still out there...not a great FA market out there this yr.

So the Bengals continue their O-line overhaul. 2 more starters leave in FA. OT Andre Smith & C Russell Bodine are gone. They traded for a high risk/ high reward in Cordy Glenn. Bold move, but could pay off.

Anyone think they will ignore their O-line in the draft yet again?
