Yes, please. Definitely Zito. Cabrera will just not come back next year like DeRosa, Ross, Beltran, Whiteside...

I know it's easy to say this in retrospect, but can't believe we traded Wheeler (despite his control and BB issues) for Carlos Beldung.

I think almost everyone felt it was the right move, including myself. We had to get him, the price was Wheeler. No way to foresee the total collapse.

He's a Class-A douche. The guy has ZERO pitch recognition left and just guesses at what is coming to him then swings wildly in hopes of making solid contact.

Geez, you'd think he'd guess "breaking ball low and away more often". Good riddance to him.

Though, to be fair, it is not really his fault that Sabean grossly overpaid for too many years for a guy to carry the team offensively.

Wow. That shot went farther than anything Rowand has hit in two years. Bravo.

Hey guys, I know a lot of you guys have been waiting on my perspective on this deal. I apologize for being late but I DO approve of it. I think Pill has some potential to be a late bloomer similar to Michael Morse in DC.:)

I certainly HOPE you are right, but I am not holding my breath on him. Mainly because he plays a position where the Giants are already pretty deep at the MLB level...

Humorous, informative, excellent use of projection and optimism. Repped from top to bottom, sir.

WOW!

Just got home from work, what great news! Tejada and Rowand gone. I don't know much about this Pill kid how good is he? Is he ready for major league hitting?

This just sent a HUGE message to Cabrera, Huff

I love the move even if it does cost us some dough. GREAT MOVE

That's just the thing, though. It did not cost the Giants a nickle. They would have to pay these guys regardless of their roster status. Might as well dump them and get some REAL players on the team.

(PS - OK, it costs the Giants about .5M for each roster spot since they have to pay the replacement player)

See I'm not all that mad at Rowand. For the most part, he's been a good guy about his lack of playing time. He's been a terrible Giant, but he's always seemed like an alright guy.

TejaDFA on the other hand can go sit and spin. Don't let the door hit you on the bunt request ya feckface.

Rowand is a good guy...worked hard...he just didn't produce. He got his huge payday contract so it's hard for me to feel too bad for him.
