Blade! Seattle's finest.

I went on there 1 day last week, tried to get back on the next day, and was blocked. Thought it was a pretty rude welcome back. Sniff.

Ill take care of that, couldnt have been intentional

Embarrassingly, as a Met fan this list is not only long, but most of the guys on it are otherwise worthless scrubs when not facing Mets pitching.

But the poster boy was Pat Burrell

yup, I remember Pat the Bat destroying the Mets, only to go the next 16 games without a hit

Against my team David Ortiz ... in all of baseball during my (rather lengthy) lifetime Barry Bonds.

I didn't mind if somebody like Bonds unloaded on us, that was expected. But it got to the point where when Burrell came up, I was screaming at somebody to plunk him

Yup. I'm stationary for the first time in a long time, and it's almost baseball season...so here I am!

When the Rangers were finally in the 90s becoming a playoff team, the toughest divisional foe in that tine was the Seattle Mariners.

The Mariner I hated to see in that situation the most would have been Griffey Junior.

I never feared Pat Burrell when he came up, and I suspect you don't either.

I don't remember that and I'm a long-time Mets fan. The reason I don't remember that is because if it did happen, and I highly highly doubt that, then it only happened once. Maybe twice.

Mets

Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, and Ryne Sandberg use to tee off on all Mets pitching in the 80's

Chipper and Terry Pendleton in the 90's

Pujols, utley, Burrell come to mind in the 2000's
