Fuck....that's bigger than my parents house in La Quinta. They have a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a casita. Little over 3k in square feet. Dad wants to unload it very soon. Hates driving back and forth. Now is the selling time out there.

A lot of people leave Cali when they retire - a few from my family have done it. Gone to AZ specifically. I would probably consider it too once my kids are settled.

And, it's a lot slower here.

I used to have the mentality that I wanted my son to be a "certain" way. But now that he's that way & I've started new with my daughter I think A LOT differently. I just want her to be smarter than I've been in terms of success. None of that other stuff really matters once they get past puberty & become adults.
