lol. I cant lay out the plan right now. Im just giving an example on how the jags defense got great with the draft and FA. The have an average QB and are in the AFC championship game and maybe the Super Bowl.

Jags built that defense in about four drafts. FA just topped it off

So wait... you been spitting this shit that we need to get something for Cousins.. and have no plan what we do aside from getting rid of Cousins?? But you like Cousins and would be "OK" if we kept him??

How the FUCK does that work??

Your word not mine. I and a few other have simply pointed out that continuing to chase "special" at the expense of other parts of the team is not likely to move us forward. But I have given you MANY opportunities to explain how not having a QB makes us a better team.

To this point your best answer has been Fuck if I know, but the Jags and Eagles did it... we should do that.

Let this last line in the article sink in for a minute.

Since assuming the starting role in Washington in 2015, Cousins is fourth in passing yards (13,176) and third in completion percentage (67.0) among qualified passers.

That's kinda special to me.

28 QB in the NFL in these two categories are not as good as ours truly. He's up there with Brees and Brady. Not saying he's either of them but he's the best we're gonna do. Nobody in FA or draft will measure up. I have to question the front office in do they really want to compete or is it all about the money. We're so close... Gonna be to bad if we fuck this up too.

Those stats are part of the biggest tease in the NFL aspect of Kirk.

Yep.. I stand by it too. I hope we get absolutely NOTHING for him. I hope he does end up in Denver and we can continue to chase "Special".

See I don't want to see him go because he isn't Special. I want to see him go because he deserves better than this franchise. And this franchise deserves to once again show how stupid they are for all to see. So I'm hoping he leaves, we end up drafting Jackson.

As long as we have Bruce Allen, I hope that he goes too! In fact I hope that he goes in order to get Dan to FIRE Bruce!

Kind of miss all of those off season championships that "winning off the field." brought us. (They're the ONLY best in the game titles we're ever going to get with that guy in charge)

Problem is I’m pretty sure it was Scotty Mac that took smith over rodgers, so not quite sure about his qb evaluating

Fair enough, but now we have Bruce Allen, who's never singularly run a draft in Washington, and here's the real kicker...He's been Team president/GM since 2009, Yippee!!

Here's another ominous bit from that draft:

The Washington Redskins not only passed on Rodgers at nine, when they selected cornerback Carlos Rogers, they almost passed on him again. Washington traded up to 25 to take quarterback Jason Campbell one choice after Rodgers, but the team had Campbell rated as the better prospect anyway.

saying this team will not compete by not having KC is just foolish. No one is chasing anything. There are many teams with average QB's who have won in this league. There will be no giving up the farm to get a Qb like you keep saying even if KC leaves. I can see why if they let KC walk. I can see why if they sign KC long term. You just don't understand that

Just thought that playing Monday morning draft pick 13 years later deserved some sort of perspective.

dean , dean , dean , what offers did the front office "not field "? your whole debating point is based on a fake assumption . no deal was ever on the table except in your la la land mind of yours

search engine ANY DAMN thread and find a quote that says any of us said we are "DOOMED " without KC . You wont find one because it NEVER was said and you are pushing a false narrative . either that or you are too damn stupid to understand that taking a step back doesnt mean doomed

you say you are not an ABC'r ? then why is your first thread turn out to be a KC bash a thon ? because you are a ABC'r by deeds and actions and by words

does matt stafford deserve to be the highest paid qb in the NFL ? does Carr deserve # 2 ? no , does KC deserve to be the highest paid qb based on merit ? HELL NO !!! dumbass but in each case its the MARKET DRIVING THE PRICE NOT SKILL LEVEL

WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE FINAL PRICE TAG WILL BE . we are not in cap trouble now or in the near future as has been shown numerous times

what you and the other ABC'rs are are mini snyders trying to buy a championship if you really buy the FA money shit you are collectively shovelling

fact is shark and I have been right about this the hole damn time . we said it would cost more and more to resign him and you guys were "OK" with that . now you have buyers remorse . you have constantly moved the goal posts on him . you have bashed his contract demands based on speculation when in fact your speculation was totally wrong

now you want to run SM out her talking about how his judgement is gospel , when in fact you were bashing him his whole tenure you phony and questioned everything about him . but alas this guy passed on rodgers and took smith so perhaps he isnt that good when it comes to qbs

I never said it was. I said I wished they put him out to trade to see what they would of gotten.

Shark has said many times that if KC is not retained we would be at the bottom of the nfl.

This is not a KC bash thread it just proves the point when SM was here that the whole organization was not sold on KC.

You and Shark are wrong about this whole thing. You just want to label people who are not sold on KC to be the teams savior. If you are not for KC you call them haters. When there is so much evidence on why they shouldn't give me a long term deal now. To sign or not to sign him there are valid points on each side of the argument. You refuse to admit that.

And We have asked you numerous times... What are your valid points for not signing him??

I have proven to you 10000 times that signing him long term does not in fact put us in cap hell. The only negative of signing him long term is..

1. We wont be able to play big spender on other peoples free agents THIS year.
2. We don't have the luxury of trying to find that "Special" (elite) rookie in this years draft.

The only person who has said we are doomed without Cousins is you. But again I have asked you to explain to me, even roughly... how in fact are we a better team without Cousins. Your answer has basically been Fuck if I know?
