Belichick told reporters today that his intention is to "absolutely" be with the Patriots in 2018.

an old college roommate of mine works for WCVB in the sports dept. used to do traffic, moved to sports about a year ago. he texted me recently...gave me the heads up on matt patricia leaving for detroit (posted over the weekend). he says the insiders there say this pats shit is 75% true, and its all on brady.

kraft did force bills hand on jimmy, and bill was not happy. that WAS his going away present to the pats. the next guy.

bill doesnt want to leave the franchise in ruins like parcells did, who, if you recall, couldnt "shop for the groceries". this is history repeating itself. he may be here in 2018, but not beyond.

i said if they didnt trade jimmy, 2017 was the end for brady here. they traded jimmy, and it affected both people moving on. bill and tom.

I read "Bill's gone this year" to mean that he is gone after this season is over. Not to mean he's gone after the 2018 season is over.

Brady and Kraft are too close. Brady isn't going anywhere unless he retires which I doubt happens after this season. If they win the S (maybe) just maybe he retires.

I don't believe BB is going anywhere either. Nor do I believe BB really cares what condition he leaves the Pats in. Especially if the reports are true about the Jimmy G fiasco. Bill would make a deal with the devil to win another ring if he knew it was his last season.

As to 75% of the rumors coming out of the Patriots inner sanctums I'm sure that number is lower.

its why this story from espn was such a big deal, because it gave inside gossip for the first time in this patriots era.

I'm not disputing there have likely been some disagreements. What I'm doubting is the hype, the way people are portraying what and how it was said (you know context) and the intensity that has been reported. Hell even with your family you have disagreements after 18 years of being together.

None of us were there, not even the reporters. So they're all speculating on the context and the delivery of these said disputes.
