2018 is officially Wojos put his money where his recruiting is season.

With the younger Hauser officially on board and a 2017 graduating class of 1.

He's got this year and next year to prove he can make us a BE power again.

Next game isn't until next Monday

Frolling is eligible. I'm hesitant on how much he will actually impact but if he's as good as Wojo and Bilas seem to indicate it could give us some hope in conference

At the very least it's another big body which alone helps

Marquette looks to be middle of the pack this year.

I think BE gets 5 in this year, maybe as few as 4.

BE will get more then 5.

Big10 and PAC are too down and won't be able to get wins vs each other.

Nova, Hall and X are all going forsure. Creighton I don't see missing.

Two of the other 4 will emerge in conference enough. My guess would be Providence and Butler.

I don't think any way 7.

St Johns is currently 18 in RPI. That will change. Funny, now just having played ASU and lost could boost your tourney hopes.

A lot is gonna depend on how many teams wins 9/10 games. That RPI for SJU is a good point some of these BE teams scheduled well and their SOS will look good in the non con and then add BE play. Marquette for example doesn't even have an actual "good win" but the non con looks solid computer wise.

Best Thing for the league is if DePaul and Gtown just play dead.

I like St. John's chances to make the tournament before Providence. Providence hasn't looked that good this year. Barely beating Belmont, Brown and Rider isn't a good look.

I want to see how St. John's looks like against the top teams in the Big East. Had a decent comeback against Arizona State, but fell short.

SJU needs to prove to me that they can put it all together for a bunch of BE games. Providence has looked real shaky and maybe peaked early last season but them and Butler are safer bets. I'm also not real impressed with Butler though.

SJU and Marquette are more wild cards. I could see both winning 5/6 games or emerging as the more dangerous second tier BE teams.

Seton Hall looks so good at times

Then you see why they always choke late in season

Absolutely no discipline. It's embarrassing what they are doing right now

Losing to Rutgers in any scenario is pretty embarrassing.

Yeah.

I mean Rutgers seems much more competent this year and it's a rivalry game

But the way they lost was just plain sad. Seems Willard still doesn't coach actual basketball

Yea, Rutgers might be turning the corner. I might have to tone it down on the Rutgers jokes. They've also hung in with some tough teams.

Crisis adverted on Rowsey.

Final tune up before BE play was basically worthless as American is terrible.

Xavier at home right off the bat is huge because 1. It's a home game 2. It's a chance at a resume win and 3. From a match up stand point they are a much more likely W then Nova or SHU.

Definitely possible we get crushed tho.

Markus is due for a blackout game. Let's hope it's Wednesday.

I think we might be better then expected

But still a loss.

Don't have the horses if the shots are off and Markus is in a massive funk.

Super excited about next two years tho. Wow

Nobody to attack the rim and finish.

Kills them at the end of the game.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised Wojo is recruiting short guys who can shoot from 25 feet but can't put any contested layup in, but he needs to recruit more length and athleticism to make it happen. More JaJuan Johnsons.
