Just wanted to stop in and say congrads Lady (Cali I know your around) and Gentlemen!
I live up here and that was a straight up fantastic game yesterday! For years I've been forced to watch them Hawks pull one out of their arses but yesterday your Skins had the last laugh!

Im sure the mobs are forming to go track down Walsh up here! LOL...

Again nice win!

What? Sure - this guy has made mistakes (most notably the pass call @ goal line in SB vs Pats) & yes I agree w/ you about the 2 pt conversions. However to call him on of the worst coaches ever is laughable. The man has won a SB & a college national championship. That is being one of the "worst coaches you ever seen"? Whatever.

You are way too critical of coaches in the NFL. Honestly - do you believe that you would do a better job? If so how come you are not at least an NFL asst coach at this time?

The man gets "lucky" alot! I will say that!

Why go for 2. it doesnt make sense. we needed a td no matter what. most over rated coach in NFL history if you ask me.

The guy wins b/c of his defensive talent and Wilson making back yard plays. His decision making is the worst. You don't understand this socal. You just read the newspaper and see who wins. The guy is very lucky,.

Just a fantastic win and even more enjoyable since I live in the NW being a Redskin fan! Today feels really good and I don't care how we won, we won!!! Yesterday's game had the feel of a playoff game from start to finish and to pull that out with our current health issues was simply amazing. Great team victory!

HTTR!

To be honest I think he had no faith at all in Walsh after that! Plus I think he knows his offense isn't that good this year!

Read the newspaper? What is this - 1990? Good Lord. Again - I watch all of the games & yes have seen my fair share of games by Carroll's team both in SEA & at USC. Yes - he makes mistakes, but he also does things to put his teams in position to win. So you are maintaining that just about all of his success is due to luck? LOL. Go back to XBOX - it will be easier for you to make sense of things that don't exist in the real world.

If you cant rely on Walsh for an extra point than that is just bad. You needed Walsh to possibly win the game for you late. So you lose confidence in him? Horrible decision. That is so bad. Seahawks should have been down by 2 with 59 seconds left. That totally changes the game.

You almost sound disappointed that the Seahawks didn't pull it out. Jeez - if they were mistakes by Carroll - great! Enjoy it & the fact that it led to a win by the Redskins. You overanalyze things way, way too much.

Really dean, just really? I'm certain SoCal doesn't just read papers to see who wins and gives much more sensible input than most posters here including you. We all know "cheater pete" out here in the NW and his resume contradicts what you say above. Here you go...

Carroll returned to the NFL after spending the previous nine years (2001-09) as head coach at USC, where he won seven consecutive Pac-10 titles (2002-08) and two national championships (2003-04), and led the Trojans to a 97-19 record.

He began his NFL career as defensive backs coach for Buffalo (1984) and Minnesota (1985-89) before becoming the New York Jets defensive coordinator (1990-93) and head coach (1994). He spent two years as San Francisco defensive coordinator (1995-96), leading the league in total defense in 1995, before leading New England to a 27-21 record and two playoff appearances as head coach (1997-99). Carrolls overall head coaching record is 33-31 in the regular season and 1-2 in the postseason.

Carroll began his coaching career at the college level, spending time at Pacific (1974-76), Arkansas (1977), Iowa State (1978) and Ohio State (1979). He next spent three seasons (1980-82) as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at North Carolina State, before returning to Pacific in 1983 as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Carroll was a two-time (1971-72) All-Pacific Coast Conference free safety at Pacific and earned his bachelor's degree in 1973 in business administration.

A little long but love the beginning part where Sharpe makes a great case for Cousins (won't even bother listening to that load Bayless response). Sharpe made a great pt in pointing out Cousins sitting in the pocket & taking that brutal hit from Seahawks (resulting in roughing the passer) & not even flinching. Forget about the winning drive - Cousins showed some real toughness & being a great leader w/ that play.

you defending Caroll takes the cake. you actually wrote a message defending this clown. lol

LOL. Yep - I guess all of these coaches suck. None of them can come close to all of your second guessing & armchair QB'ing.

no second guessing or arm chair Qbing. Its just common sense you kick the Xp after the Baldwin TD.

Fine - like I said I agreed w/ you on that one (which can be debated by others). That doesn't make Carroll one of the worst coaches ever.
