Allen lover - again pls clarify how I am a fair weather fan. I root for the Washington Redskins. Not Dan Snyder, not Kirk Cousins, not Jay Gruden, not Allen, not Norman. The Redskins period. I watch this team whether they are winning or losing, injured or healthy & pull for everyone that is wearing their uniform. I am not a big fan of Allen's (mainly due to his pathetic handling of SM). However - I hope that every move he makes is a good one & as long as he is running the team I hope that he does a good job.

Again - please explain how I am "as fair weather as they come".

So do I. I root for the team. B/c you already have an excuse before the game even starts. Read the title of thread. I didn't single out any player.

Does anybody know what a "fair weather" fan is? Seriously? Dean, I thought you would at least know this definition considering you don't know much else.

A fair weather fan is a fan that cheers for a team when they are doing well. How does that apply to SoCal?

No...but you singled out one side of the ball. The defense gave up 170 yards of rushing. The STs delivered a TD to the opposing team, 10 point swing.

We lost 14. 7 of those came in desperation time.

You don't know anything. A fair weather fan is a fan who is not involved. Always a built in excuse. Does not WATCH or break down games.

Elliot had over 30 carries. Offense couldn't get first downs and had turnovers. So the defense had to keep stopping them. Even the commenters said the defense was keeping them in the game. The offense did nothing in the 2nd half.

there is more to it than that. You don't evaluate this team objectivity. DO you buy into Sharks consisparcy theory?

A fan of a sports team who only shows support when the team is doing well. During hard times they usually bandwagon other teams. They basically have no real loyalty to the team, but still manage to get better seats than you at the game. Strangely they mysteriously vanish at the first sign of trouble.

This is the definition of a fair weather fan. I at least know enough to look before I call people out. This is why you are considered a dumb ass and people do not respect your opinion.

That is funny with all the likes and trophies I have people respect my opinion. Your definition is true but there is much more to it than that. The only dumbass on here is you. McCaffery not a first round pick takes the cake.

Yup. Allen screwed this up 2 years ago and has continued to botch it every year.

So I am curious, as an outsider, what is your real opinion of Cousins? If Dak didn't materialize, Romo was gone and Cousins was available, would you want the Cowboys to try and land him?
The year Cousins took over I saw a franchise QB in Kirk. No that's not calling him elite, but outside of Brady and Rodgers I don't see any elite QBs. That's where the fallacy lies. IMO many confuse Franchise QB with Elite QB.
Today I'll say Dallas and Philly have Francise QBs going forward, Washington should if they'd sign Cousins long term, and the Giants use to have one in Eli.

He wouldn't have had 33 carries if the defense stopped him. See how that works.

Am I dismissing the play of the offense? It was poor.

Stop quoting commentators. They know nothing more than we do.

Do I buy the full blown conspiracy? No. Do I believe BA would like to see KC fail? Absolutely. BA is much like you. He would rather be right and lose than be wrong and win.

That's pretty much exactly the way I view it also. There are only 2 elite QBs in this league at this time as you identified. There are probably 8-12 franchise QBs, of which Cousins is one. I don't see Cousins ever becoming elite, but he is definitely a QB that can take a team to the SB. You can spend decades (I know as the Redskins have) searching for an elite QB and never find one. IF this team cannot sign KC to a long term deal, I predict that we will spend the next decade in our standard place in recent history in the cellar of the NFCE, while we search for a QB that can even play to KC's level. All the while we will watch our other talent (Trent Williams, Reed, Crowder, Kerrigan, Breeland, Morgan, etc) age and fade away. And since we will be using all of our top resources in draft picks searching for that elusive elite QB, we will not be providing adequate top talent replacements to those guys that will be leaving. Hence, wash, rinse, repeat.

that is bullshit that Ba wants KC to fail. Why go sign Pryor who at the time was an up an coming young WR? Why give Gruden a extension on his contract? IF BA wanted KC gone none of those two things would of happened.

Hahaha...do a comparison you blithering idiot?

You have more posts than me, yet you have less than half the likes and barely half as many trophies.

How does it have more to do with it? I showed you the actual definition.

Yep, I admit I was wrong on McCaffery before the draft. Before something happened.

You just told me I was wrong about what a "fair weather" fan is, after I looked up the definition, while you were too lazy to look it up, and you were wrong. That takes the cake dumb ass.

I didn't predict the future...damn. You didn't know a definition and then told me I was wrong.

Oh, I think that BA would like nothing more than to be proven right about KC and not offering him a fair market deal. He can't stand to be shown up. He hates it even more than losing.

You wanna trade away your 3rd best receiving target right now?

For a second pick I sure would. I do realize he could be one of the best receiving te’s in the league. He can’t block at all and is always injured though

We sign KC because we couldn't lose two, 1000 yard WRs in the same offseason and not replace them with somebody. If BA was obvious, he would be fired.

Again, had he not extended Gruden, he would be fired.

A fair weather fan is one who only supports the team when they are winning, but disappears to trashes them when they lose. Coach and Country are the epitome of that definition, and Dean, you at times are pretty close.

Why is it that you always look to blame one person every time they lose? It is never one person's fault or even one side of the ball's fault. All 3 aspects of this team contributed to the loss last night. Offense was no more to blame than the defense or STs.

I disagree. The offense was more to blame than the defense. When have I disappeared when the team is losing? lol. I don't make excuses for this team. If you don't play well you get called out no matter who it is.
