The redskins lost because they had literally nobody on oline, continue to get crap production from every wr other than Crowder, can't run the ball, and have been decimated by injuries.

There's no conspiracy theory. That's beyond stupid.

Who said anything about a conspiracy??

But lets be honest. This was another prove it season for the QB. Thats not conspiracy, its fact. At the end of the season, the fact that the QB wasnt able to carry the team despite the aforementioned injures will be used as the MAIN reason why we in fact wont resign him, and as the reason why we just had to draft (insert your prefered rookie here).

Did Bruce set the team up to fail.. maybe. Do I think he wants Kirk to succeed, not really.

By the way @chillerdab I find it kind of funny that people scream Kirk is only as good as his supporting cast when his supporting cast has actually gotten worse in quite a few areas, and yet he is still performing. Despite the Redskins being 3-4, Kirk is still among the top 10 QBs in Yards, completion percentage, Average yards per attempt and QB rating. NOw the Run game is actually WORSE, and while the defense LOOKS better at times, and has improved.. we aint the 80's Bears yet.

So yea, you are right, he is only as good as his supporting cast. And I wonder what Wentz, Prescott, Wilson or Winston would look like with this supporting cast??

Everyone needs to chill a tad. 3-4 after 7 games. Eagles twice, rams, chiefs, raiders, cowboys, and 9ers. Pretty damn tough start with Seattle,Minnesota,Saints on deck. Look at the winning percentages of those teams and the injuries this team has. They might lose the next 3 as well if health doesn't return. Blame it on Cousins yeah that's it. Just :bullshit:

No KC and the skins are 0-7 imo

BUt if we were 0-7, we could draft Darnold without trading up.....

Worth it. :trash:

As usual you miss the point. Neither side played well enough to win. Both sides are to blame.

Again, show me an offense that plays well with three OL missing, 2 of which are AP.

Sabotage? lol. are you serious? Just drop it dude.

That is fine but how about you also stop minimizing the effect of the injuries. Your OP basically trivializes the injuries. Get real. 60% of their O line was missing including their 2 best lineman & perhaps the best O lineman in the NFL. On top of that they were missing their starting CB, best D lineman & critical ILB & playing w/ a replacement kicker.

Add in some unreliable WRs and marginal RB & guess what? In spite or your claims - THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TALENT TO WIN - at least not w/ the team that was on the field yesterday. If you believe otherwise you are delusional. I realize that it is frustrating, but cmon - you have to accept reality at some time.

All that you want to do is blame, blame, blame & constantly defend your mancrush Bruce Allen (which you always deny but it very obvious). It is all Cousins fault or Grudens fault - your rant is getting very tired. The truth of the matter is that the reasons for losses (just like wins) are not simple. Sure - they have some issues at all positions & you could always coach or play QB better. However - neither of those are the reasons for the loss yesterday.

Did Gruden or Cousins screw up that FG resulting in the back breaking block? Did they fumble the kickoff (not coming down on Thompson since he has been great thus far)? Did either of them once again fall short in catching passes or running the ball? Did they cause all of these injuries?

If you want folks to see your pt then perhaps you should stop being so closed minded & try to see the pts of others. It was not easy for that decimated team to play yesterday - you will never realize that & will always play the blame game. IMO you are a pretty weak fan. HTTR

Cmon Shark. I suggest that you see what happens before coming to all of these conclusions. Again - I truly believe that if Allen/Snyder go the RG3 route again that they may alienate a huge % of the fanbase. I don't like Allen either but let's not condemn him for something that has not even occurred yet.

I still have hopes that they will make a big effort to keep Cousins, but they better act fast this time. No more 11th hour negotiations unless they are stupid enough to apply the tag again. It is very hard to make a judgement on Cousins now w/ all of the injuries & other concerns (in spite of the protests of some on this forum). We should put stock into Kevin's post & see what happens moving fwd (likely won't result in any great success but could shed more light on everything).

If we could get a second for reed like someone said I’d be for it, can’t count on him and he doesn’t block worth a damn. He’s had plenty enough time to learn but just can’t do it

You wanna trade away your 3rd best receiving target right now?

Of course injuries were a factor. Im not blaming this all on KC either. The whole offense was a problem. Im not closed minded at all. The whole offense didn't produce yesterday. Im commenting about the game. what is weak is to blame the front office for our team this year. what is weak are built in excuses before the game even starts. Don't even judge me. You are as fair weather as they come.

How am I fair weather? I root for the team - period. Let's hear your rationale. Your head is so far up Allen's ass it is ridiculous.

Allen lover - again pls clarify how I am a fair weather fan. I root for the Washington Redskins. Not Dan Snyder, not Kirk Cousins, not Jay Gruden, not Allen, not Norman. The Redskins period. I watch this team whether they are winning or losing, injured or healthy & pull for everyone that is wearing their uniform. I am not a big fan of Allen's (mainly due to his pathetic handling of SM). However - I hope that every move he makes is a good one & as long as he is running the team I hope that he does a good job.

Again - please explain how I am "as fair weather as they come".

Outsider point of view.
For those calling Cousins 'The 30 Million Dollar Man", do you realize if Allen just paid him the going STARTER rate, Kirk would be making just north of 20 mil, and QB wouldn't be a concern for the team. I'm guessing playing his 3rd straight year for a contract is a weighing distraction.

Yup. Allen screwed this up 2 years ago and has continued to botch it every year.

So I am curious, as an outsider, what is your real opinion of Cousins? If Dak didn't materialize, Romo was gone and Cousins was available, would you want the Cowboys to try and land him?
