Michigan (27-20) in OT

Indiana rushing offense (93).
"Up 24 spots" = (69)

LOL keep going
Michigan State is ranked 18th in the AP polls. If it weren't for Michigan, we would be -6, fuck them.

I'd easily choose Michigan here if they had their starting QB. Without him and at Penn State it will surely be hard but I still believe they are the better team and Harbaugh is the better coach so I chose Michigan by less than 10.

Should be a good one, I was lucky enough to be at the 2005 White Out vs Ohio State...it was insane. It was in my top 5 games I have been to.

Nice! Got it line at 8am for that game, ended up in the 6th row. Definitely one of the best times at Beaver Stadium

Nice..how'd you end up at that game?

I was living in DC and playing rugby at the time, we had an away game against Happy Valley, which is mostly a Penn St alumni team, we played early that day and then they invited us to their tailgate after. A few of us decided to spend the night and go to the game. Some of their guys had the hook-up and we got in on student tickets.

LOL

Up 24 spots from what, 112th? Great, that puts them at 87th.

(2-4) AF averaged 3.4 ypc at Michigan. I used to have a coach who told us if you can get 3.4 ypc, you'll be in every game. 3.4 yds x 3 = 10.2 yds (move the chains).

Let's take this a step further...

Turnover Margin: Penn St (2) Michigan (95) Iowa (59)
Fewest Penalties per game: Penn St (8) Michigan (121) Iowa (35)
Fewest Penalty yds per game: Penn St (17) Michigan (118) Iowa (31)

Michigan is flat out undisciplined. They ain't gonna slow roll Penn St ( a la Ferentz) with those numbers. That lunatic Harbaugh will have the camera on him all night.

Oh the irony of a Nebraska fan talking defense. Congrats on holding OSU to 58 last week. Big improvement over the 62 they scored last year. :suds:

But the best thing about Michigan is................we aren’t Nebraska. We actually play defense, something the little red should think about trying.

I snuck in late to the student section with some alumns, we wound up about midway up. I didn't have a dog in the fight, but it was hard to not root for Penn St...one of our guys went to Ohio St...he somehow didn't feel the same way. I went back for the last Alabama-Penn St game, was nowhere near as intense.

I think that is one of the reasons that I am ambivalent about the neutral site vs home and home argument. I have been lucky enough to have seen a lot of college games not involving Alabama...if you really want to feel what it's like at someone else's stadium, go there when they are playing a rival.

I can remember being at Legion Field back when Manning was the Tenn QB...the thought that those stands weren't sound enough to take that crossed my mind more than once. You are never going to get that with Alabama versus most other teams. It's always going to be the lite version of whatever that stadium has to offer.

Are you back in Happy Valley? Just for the game?

While having a pissing contest with you would be entertaining. I don’t have the heart to embarrass you any further. It is embarrassing enough to have to watch how sad the Nebraska programs is these days. Props on being a step above Illinois and Rutgers though.

Air Force averaged 3.4 YPC... their season average is 4.9. That 3.4 is the 2nd highest allowed by Michigan all year and they've allowed 2.6 YPC on the year (currently 5th in the nation).

"2.6 YPC on 4 downs = first down"

that's some brilliant logic there @Red_Alert. I guess Michigan's opponents should go for it on every 4th down.

Because if anyone knows what a good defense looks like, it's a Nebraska fan. Lol.

Fun note, Michigan hasn't beat a top 10 opponent on the road since 2006.

What does Michigan @ Penn St have to do with Nebraska?

Nothing of course. Therefore, I'll chalk this up to you getting out-debated with the facts, and have nothing else to support Michigan in this game.

They do put erasers on pencils for a reason and Penn St could play their worst game of the season, but that's not likely. Enjoy putting lipstick on a pig, but everything points to Penn St kicking your teeth in.

Still don't see what Michigan @ Penn St has to do with Nebraska.
Props on your OT win over (3-3) Indiana, yourself. LMAO

Just in case you don't get it, because Nebraska's team doesn't play good D doesn't equate to him not knowing what a good D is. Wow...just fucking wow

That was (2-4) Air Force getting 3.4 ypc.

Do you even comprehend the size and quality difference in the lines?

Heck, New Mexico beat AF by more than Michigan did.

Michigan was looking ahead to Purdue, right?

Obviously the Huskers have nothing to do w/ the Nittany Lions or wolvereeeens. Most of the time the only way that trustmeimwrong fella can feel better about meeeechegan is to talk shit about other programs.
